For the record Najeh Davenport walked off the field against OSU in 99, slight limp, and same conversations as going on here were happening then. He felt fine he said, next week him and Gables were suntanning together in the East End Zone wheelchair section after his ACL surgery.

As Sad as this may seem...

We Need Kacy Rodgers.... Keep #30 regulated to Special teams.. please

JC

Hopefully Kacy is ok. Thank God we have Wake this week, we can rest those guys. I would love to see Jamal get some experience, and Gus get more reps this week.

Yeah just be mindfull that you can walk just fine with a torn ACL. It's a stability thing but walking, even without a limp, isn't going to indicate anything. The limping and pain typically comes from a bone bruise. From impression of the tears is that the trainer may have done a drawer test or one of the manual ligament tests there, signifying an ACL/MCL/PCL whatever. We're going to have to hold our breathe and wait for the MRI

That's a gutsy win, boy. It didn't look good. We lost a lot of guys along the way. Guys were stepping up, fighting our tails off. We overcame four interceptions. We'll get that corrected when we get back to Coral Gables. But right now, they've got to enjoy this. That's a gutsy road win for the 'Canes.

(On the mindset): What they're learning is just to play six seconds at a time and trust that the outcome is going to take care of itself. All week, we talked about playing until there's four zeroes on the clock. Play until four zeroes are on the clock. I can't believe it was prophetic.

(On Dallas Crawford): Unbelievable effort by him. The offensive line, tight ends, fullback blocking. I think Randy's going to be OK. But a lot of guys stepped up. Eduardo Clements on the last drive stepped up. A lot of guys on special teams because we had so many guys out. Just a team win.

Man i dont know about resting Morris for Wake. After last night atrocity he needs to play against Wake before FSU, he has around 9 days to prepare, u dont want him sitting around for 17 days before FSU. BTW we need need Scott back Asap. He is the only guy with the combination of size and speed to really worry defenses and we need him for FSU especially

I wouldn't rest him against Wake but what I would do is rest him till Monday. He needs to work on some things before FSU.

I'll be stunned if Dorsett isn't out for the year. He was crying on the sideline.

the fact that he was crying is irrelevant. I'm sure it had more to do with him wanting to go back in but trainers told him no. They hadn't even diagnosed him yet.

I agree that we need Scott back ASAP but Stacy Coley is a guy that has good size and speed. He needs to get more involved in the offense. If he gets going i think he can be THAT guy!

I have not had an ACL since I was 17, I also don't have a medial meniscus. The doctor took the cart out and didn't want to repair the ACL because I was not a Professional athlete, his words. I keep my leg as strong as I can now and have always played sports without them, but the swelling and stability was always a problem. I'm 54 and still play tennis like a 30 year old and deal with the arthritis from bone to bone. My leg does sit 20 degree's off now, I was told by another doctor the other night at a party. Doctor did some of the patriots back then, Every time I passed by his office as a grownup I wanted to go in and beat the living **** out of him. Just 3 months later he started arthroscopic, that piece of garbage doctor should have waited for such a young person, it had already been 6 months since they told me I only had a sprain. IKTM info had to vent

I had a acl tear and was able to walk. Also what is the news on Duke?

This might mean nothing but I follow quite a few cane players and parents on Instagram and just today Hurns mom posted a prayer tagging Dorset and his parents and in the prayer it talked about An MRI (never heard of a prayer with MRI in it) Hurns mother told them to pray this prayer for the next 7 days. Does the MRI mean they are looking for ACLU? I know what she posted isn't a big deal but I just wanted to share

I had compound, comminuted fractures of both femurs, and both tibias in the first quarter of a game and not only walked off the field, but I also played the rest of the game.
