Importance of SQUAD17 to FUTURE

Saw Watsons JR tape and he was not as advanced throwing deep like Kosi can. It's actually not close. Watson looks to run first.Kosi airs it out and boy does he look good for 16 year old junior. Imagine him in 2 years. Can't wait for all the Kosi bashers to say "I knew it all along" when Kosi tears up ACC.

Lmao...

Watson set the Georgia state record in passing yards and tds. Also had over 4,000 yds rushing. Perry doesn't come even close to that.

No chance in **** Perry beats out Allison. His film is a bit underwhelming. I was much more impressed with weldons tape and really hopes he sticks. I'm not saying I don't like perry, but the way you guys pump him up around he you would think the kid is the next best thing since sliced bread.

Lets not forget just how bad Jacory Harris was lighting up south Florida talent, then he made it to college and the difference in speed of the game, and other factors and he was not as successful. There is a huge talent gap between HS ball and CFB. Not saying the kid is or is not talented, but there is so much time between now and then. Lets get the kid on campus and see how he does before we start calling him the GOAT. It gets so **** old reading about how the kid in HS is already better than the guy we have starting, or even worse is better or as good as the best ever to play...

I'd bet the farm that Perry beats Allison out. Now carry on.

Everyone else should bet the farm on Allison then. lmao.

Care to explain? I've been far more accurate on predictions than the vast majority of this board and the one frequented by most before this one.

Perry is dual threat, which makes him dangerous, yes. But Brad is correcting coach Richt on protections for an offense Richt has been running for over a decade! He also very accurate according to Richt. Brad has elite accuracy and football IQ. Brad has also had the stones since his freshman year. If you get WRs that can get separation & O-linemen that can block a little to go with his intangibles, you're talking about a **** of a QB to replace.

Perry would have enormous shoes to fill IF--and that's a big IF--he even stays with his commitment. Having athleticism and a big arm is fantastic but it isn't the end-all.

BTW don't sleep on Jack Allison w/ a year or 2 to RS and learn the offense? He has leader written all over him.

I dont see it. He looks like an interception waiting to happen when he throws the ball.. kid looked shook in the UA game and

I love it. We are talking about 3 different guys who are all legit who are going to eventually fill in for brad. Thats a big step towards being back....stud Qbs all over.
Yep......the QB competition
post Brad is going to be crazy!

I use to say that Freshman are not going to help you win a championship. Then I saw 5-7 freshman help Bama win a title. Now I still don't think 2017 is our year because of Freshman but I don't like our future OL's. We need a couple of good Juco Right OT and Right OG. If not then we don't win the ACC. FSU and Clemson DL's are going to be too good.

It's not about you.. I wouldn't bet against Jack Allison. Especially not farms because his mind is strong. He's a true competitor and this will have to play out on the field. Not in your head with all due respect.

And as I said before, a year of S&C at the College level and learning the nuances of the offense? Against our D?

Not the farm cuz. :q3XKXeX:

Our line was very young, questionably coached and, based on scheme, weren't challenged at the highest level daily in practice. Just chill and let this thing cook for a full Spring and Fall. What would you/people have said about Houston's team and talent before Tom Herman got there last season? I think we have as good if not better talent than Houston and Richt is as good if not a better coach than Herman.

No? :puzzled:

Amen. And we are probably talking about a QB who is coming back for his 4th year even if he graduates before then. Kid is smart. Really smart. NFL will snatch him up regardless of what year he comes out. Need to notice the carnage all these dual threats QBs have caused their teams. Russell is smarter than he is fleet footed. RGIII and Little Football have damaged the image of those who think with their feet. You can't teach speed but you also teach smart. We could be on the beginning of another great QB run.

I think Perrys tape shows he legit no questions asked. Their is not one professional required throw he doesn't demonstrate on a "JR highlight" tape guys. That tape you saw was only a 16 year old JR in HS. And he demonstrates ridiculous long ball ability, he already got the slant and go seam rout down, makes the 10-12 yard comeback stick throws. That's rare on a JR. Some kids learn these skills in off season camps going into their senior season; if their lucky. This kid had it in his Junior year.
My favorite thing he does is when u watch him scramble his eyes are always downfield for the big play. Most mobile QB's tuck and run the minute things break down. This kid looks to stick a sword in you and that's rare for any mobile QB, never mind a 16 year old.

First let's hope Kaaya comes back his senior year. I love him and think he's great and gonna have a good season. But I'm not sold on him yet as being first round top 10 #1 pick good? I'm a little skeptical based on what my eyes showed me the last time we saw Brad Kaaya compete. Now, what are we going to see this season? In my eyes he is not a sure fire top 10 pick in 2017 like many canes fans have stated. Many Canes fans have already written him off as being gone for his Senior season. I don't see him as 1000% gone and foregoing his senior season. He would need a significant step forward in several areas. He can make all the throws but need improvement in areas real "canes fans" should obviously know. And if he is not a sure fire first round high pick i believe his family would advise him to return to coach Richt for a 2nd Season. Which if he did- OH my god the NCAA playoffs here we come. That would give him his 2nd season with Bruce,Ahmonn, Mullins, and another year for Njoku to develop and Homer, Walton, Yearby at RB, with all the 2016 LB's in 2nd season. Wow what a team

Competition for QB will be fierce to replace Brad. That's how you know CMR has things going in the right direction.
Another position where competition will be fierce will be WR. With Cager,Berrios,Njoku, and Bruce, Ahmmon, Mullins, Dingle and Rodney Scott that's a lot of talent that's gonna want the ball. That's not even considering the possibility of adding Jeudy,Deejay Dallas, Felix if they sign. Competition breeds greatness. Another sign CMR has us going in right direction in only 3 months. We're not that far away boys!!

LB is another position where competition will be fierce. This kid Gordinier appears to be impressing, and i always liked Charles Perry ability. Now add in Shaq, Zach, and Pinckney and that's a lot of competitive beasts. Then we have Waynon Steed coming in who's rising up rankings, and man would D.Wilder look good. Imagine that August camp when it's time to earn a starting job. poor running backs.

Almost forgot Juwon Young and Darion Owens who have plenty of eligibility left to compete with the aforementioned.
