I'm Done With Morris

Morris made absolutely sick throws on both his TDs to Hurns.

He also made two horrendous throws on drives where Miami absolutely needed to score points.

Bring on Baby Jesus.

And that sums up Stephen Morris. That's who he is.

Agree with other posters, Morris makes a few throws every game which are big time and get you excited but for the other majority of the game he plays at a below average QB level, inconsistent, poor reads, poor accuracy and no pocket presence

He has awful awareness, he pointed out the blitzer when the NB blitzed him and still let him get a sack

Morris is not a championship QB. Elway, Brees, Manning, etc all hated to lose at everything. Morris on the other hand gives no ****s as long he gets to show off his arm

thank god. Highsmith and morris were FSU offensive and defensive mvps tonight. So pathetic. I hope Jamal Carter gets his shot to play.
bush and jenkins come up with int's and highsmith blew how many plays. they need to be gone.

As for the title of this thread, Ive BEEN done with Morris for a while. Ive called for Ryan Williams, and stand by it. Id like to see what he can do. Morris does not have it. The kid has a great arm, but nothing between the ears. It is truly appalling that THIS is the best we can field at QB at Miami.

Add the fact that he's a 5th year senior makes it more appalling.

And precisely why I would like to see Ryan Williams get a shot. I would trade Morris' two good throws a game, for a QB who could put together an ENTIRE game where he can move the offense CONSISTENLY down the field and score points. I dont need Dan F*cking Marino's arm, just a guy who can read a defense, find some open receivers, and make good decisions.

Hate to break it to you guys but Morris is our best option. Not sure we score in the 1st half without him, Williams simply couldn't make those throws to Hurns. Our WRs don't get great separation, personally I'm not a huge fan of our route schemes.

2nd half was a combo of awfulness. Morris was bad, Walford was bad, WRs weren't getting separation and when Coley did Morris threw late once and Coley dropped a TD on the other.

Guess ill get labeled as someone swinging on Morris' nuts

In Morris' defense, he has had three different OCs. Not saying it excuses some of the bonehead throws, but it is a factor.

In Morris' defense, he has had three different OCs. Not saying it excuses some of the bonehead throws, but it is a factor.

Fine but he still struggles with the same dang things...poor touch on the TE seam pass (this is an OC agnostic play), he panics when his first read isn't open, he takes horrible sacks, etc. those things have very little to do with the OC issue
