IF Golden Turned down PSU..

nah im really interested in the input. its all in good conversation.

I think the team need to improve overall. I think improvements in 3rd down and redzone offense will benefit the defense as much or even more.. I think the personnel will be better at safety, DT and LB.. I think we'll be be better set up to take on injuries from a depth standpoint

Safety we will be young as ****

LB we will be young and GREEN as ****

we lose all of our DT's

Play a tougher schedule against better offenses

etc etc etc

Jenkins, Bush, Carter, Hester, Gayot, the numbers are there finally

Young, Owens, Figs, big kids 230 plus finally looking like we should physically there and I think Denzel comes back especially with Golden

Got a feeling Wyche and Hertolou, are better than what we've seen here, we'll know by summer if Al is bringing in 5th year transfers

ok so you named 1 PROVEN good football player who was down with an injury last year (bush). Jenkins is fun to watch and all but he gets lost in coverage alot. if this was not the case rodgers and highsmith wouldnt have played so **** much.

all question marks.

True, but again I think the best new player for the D next year is Ryan Williams/new QB.. A lot hinges on that position improving from a game management standpoint

a lot of you need to STFU...

This program has been thirsting for one thing for 8 years... continuity

since Coker scapegoated his whole staff in 2005, this program has been a quagmire, a disaster, and a continual exercise in futility and instability

Al Golden is a Miami Hurricane, and he is right there with Duke Johnson as the truest Canes we've seen in a while

His move this weekend has once again changed the way this program is viewed. he is changing the perception of this program.

Nobody wanted this job 3 years ago, Al Golden took it and turned it back into a desirable destination, and he took himself up on the situation HE created..

Thank you Al, karma will take care of you

No. Just no. Duke never considered going anywhere else.

Once again if the title of my thread holds true, the guy changed his colors FOR LIFE,

Are you on crack? WTF?! Comparing this **** tard of an excuse for a coach with Duke Johnson. You should get permanently banned from this site for having the balls to make such an asinine statement. Duke loves the U and is the ONLY guy who showed passion in our games this season.

AG won't even call him Duke, even though he has stated that he prefers being called Duke instead of Randy. How would AG like it if Duke called him Bob, Cindy, Sam, etc.? Major disrespect and disassociation from the players, in my opinion. He needs to grow a pair and start being a leader of men instead of being a control freak.

How does the former happen? Fire No'D. Get a true DC. Stop playing scared football. Get the team to play with passion and heart. Stop throwing players under the bus. Make coaches accountable for the lack of progress on the field. Evaluate every single part of the program and make the necessary changes. We all keep learning as we go through life. It takes a real man to admit, okay, I gotta improve on certain areas. What do I need to do to accomplish this?

Unfortunately, I don't think Al has the want to do any of these things. He is stuck in his box, and refuses to come out of it. The worst part is that at the end of the day, he will have wasted away the talent of all of these great players, which is sickening.

How is golden a true cane when he turned psu down because they wanted to interview munchak.

One last thing...I only wish you would have the balls to call Al a "true Cane" to the faces of REAL CANES like Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Daniel Stubbs or the LATE, GREAT Jerome Brown. They would've knocked your *** out cold for such disrespect.

Yeah, we got continuity alright.

Haven't been worth a siht for over ten years due to ****poor coaches, and looks like the trend is going to continue.

Let's all pat ourselves on the back.

******* this. This board is beyond full ******.

If Al thought fan unrest was bad before this....he aint seen nothin yet. The only thing he can do is win. The fans behavior in the stands at the Russel bowl will seem like a vacation at Hawaii and a lot is self inflicted.

Whether he turned them down or the other way is totally irrelevant.

Golden couldn't find a safety to start over highsmith.

Thats a problem for me.

Shannon couldn't recruit a safety to start over Highsmith. Now with Jenkins, hester, gayot, bush, and Carter, we're set.

I think it's pretty clear golden found several people who could start over highsmith

I'm glad it took 84 hours and the biggest recruit of his career to decommit before he turned them down.

Thanks Al!

Al Golden wants to be here, Travonte Valentine doesnt, whos the sellout?
MOAR excuses for Golden you **** sucking Golden worshiping ******s. Don't use the words loyal and Golden together you dumb ****. The man went job hunting when he was given an extension and a pay bump. Thats not loyalty. So **** you

Im still scared about safety next year. Our 2 deep is going to be Jenkins and Bush, who should hopefully revert back to pre-injury form, and unproven but promising Carter who has barely played, and probably a guy who is in HS right now. Now throw an injury or two in there. It's as fragile as WR was this year. Worse.

Reading this board makes a person contemplate Suicide. This is why we are called fair wether fans. Its times like this where *****ing isnt doing anything, we dont know whats gonna happen next season. How many people had Duke winning 10 games, we play them for a reason.

Every single player that suits up for the Miami Hurricanes next year, I will root for.

Every single recruit that stuck by us through this garbage and didn't turn to Twitter like a ho, I will root for.

But Al Golden?

Al Golden can suck my ****.
