I want this bowl game

Whatever the name, Pop Tart/Tangerine/Blockbuster/CarQuest/Champs Sports etc, I hope this team comes out angry and hate-filled. We have one last opportunity to do something actually meaningful, whether you believe that or not.

We haven't won 11 games since 2003. We haven't won a bowl game since 2016 (back when this was the Russell Athletic bowl). If Cam et al are indeed playing, it's also a chance to prove that maybe, just maybe Miami in the playoffs would have been a more entertaining and dangerous scenario for the college football world.

**** on the Pop Tart all you want (we all have different breakfast preferences) but I'm actually excited to see this team play one more time.

It is just very hard for me to watch this defense...Sometimes I think I'd rather have a great defense/terrible offense...Might be easier on the nerves.

Tbe ads for that bowl would be interesting.

"Welcome back to the Fisted Sister ***** Bowl, where both teams have really been ramming it through those holes in the lines on the field today..."

Adding the Madden Telestrator would be epic.

This is the last chance for the defense to look like a Miami defense and not the horse **** we saw most of the season.

I’m more happy that we are getting the extra practices. Love that cam and Martinez are playing, sends a strong message to the younger guys.

Agreed. Hate that the naming rights change now makes it sound so silly and unimportant, but the reality is its the top ACC affiliated bowl outside of the playoffs
 
People call me a slurper on here all the time so take that into consideration when I say this....if Ward doesn't play (and he shouldn't and IMO will not), we're going to get the **** kicked out of us. As always, in a bowl game.

Remember, the one bowl game we did win was one of the very few years we didn't end the year by ****ting in our bed and then rolling ourselves into an excrement burrito. 2016, we won the last 4 games of the season, and it was Richt's first year. We had a lot to play for, rolling momentum into the next season, with a new coach who was building.

This year, as usual, we had the world in our hands and threw up all over it. I do this to myself every single year, I think the kids will take the game seriously because they want to go out with a win, or build momentum for next year, or any that stupid **** we think matters when we want to talk ourselves into a good performance. And then nobody gives a semblance of a ****, and we lose.

I won't make the mistake this year. This team, collectively, has to be about as down as humanly possible right now. Without their best player, we're going to bite the pillow to a middling team, again, in December.

I'll be here after the game to gladly have the crow kicked down my throat. I don't think that will happen, however.

Hopefully some bad guys move on and we play the young guys that’s what I’m excited for. Start popo , start young CBs stafford start anyone at safety lol

Well, only thing I can say is if you don't see a regular starter for the season out there it means they're gone or going to be....
