I told u Petrino was a corch.

Make sense now?

No, it doesn't. If we're going to trash our coach for losing to decent teams with a disgusting roster at a program that hasn't won a thing in 15 years, why are there excuses for a guy whose team literally crumbled while on the brink of a playoff spot?

Notre dame is decent? We blew the FSU game, allowed a horrible unc defense to beat us up, and got blown out by a mediocre Virginia tech.

Petrino just lost to a coach who was amazing his first year and already has wins over teams like FSU and Oklahoma.

And yes I would argue we have a better overall roster than Petrino. Richt has underachieved. Petrino has overachieved. There's a difference.

After the Bielema thing, having you disagree with me is the best thing I've heard all day.

Any team that Petrino has ever been with will tell you he is a corch in many different ways.

Like when Louisville was ranked top 10 in the conference USA. Or when Arkansas was ranked top 10 playing in the toughest division in college? Who was it, Western Kentucky fans?

Dude was ran out of Arkansas after wrecking cycle with his blonde recruiting coordinator on the back, dude snuck out of Atlanta without even addressing players he was leaving, secretly met with Au urn when Gus was in trouble while telling Louisville he was in love with them. Yeah kind of guy anyone would want their kids to play far.

This thread is not about him being a nice guy or a douche.

He is a major douche, but an excellent coach.

Saban, Urban and Belicheat are all a-holes, but they are all great Head Coaches.

J.J., Dennis, Butch and Schnelly were not nice guys. They were hard nosed dudes that knew that they were paid to win.

Richt is a nice guy, but in this business nice guys finish last.

Being a blind homer will NOT change that fact.

The difference is all the coaches you listed were respected. Everywhere Petrino goes the roster eventually turns on him. I can't wait till Vick tells Jackson about his experiences with Petrino in Atlanta.

Petrino is an ******* but those stories won't come from Vick since he never played for the guy.

Louisville defense should have showed up for the first half. That put them in a hole and give credit where it's due, the Houston defense showed up big time. Jackson is a great QB, but in a hole and game planned well by an up and coming good coach, it was too much.

Every coach has a let down game. The complaints people had or have about Richt doesn't have any bearing on Petrino or his losing last night. The argument doesn't make sense.

Petrino is a top ten coach regardless of last nights result and that's due to his body of work at all his stops as a HC especially his recent body of work.

Richt was once a top ten coach, maybe (hopefully) he will be again but his body of work over the last four to five years leaves a lot to be desired. We will see what happens in the next couple years. He deserves his three years just like Petrino and any other coach.

You realize Richt had 2 top 10 teams in the past 4 years and Petrino's last top 10 team was 5 years ago? WTF has Petrino done that makes you say he is a top 10 coach and that Richt isn't? This is just an insanely idiotic argument. People ****ting on Richt are f'ing clueless.

Water is wet and CFB coaches are sleaze balls. That doesn't have anything to do with his coaching ability.

Not being able to block a D-Line that gave up 38 points to SMU, though, does have something to do with coaching ability.

With that theory, Richt must be garbage then.

You've already established that Richt is garbage. That's why people start threads when untouchable coaches fall apart and blow their seasons.

I established that he is garbage? Huh? I just don't understand how you can question Petrino's coaching ability because Louisville's OL struggled against Houston, meanwhile our OL has become the worst OL in Miami since the 70's. So in theory, you should be questioning Richt's coaching abilities. But we know that's not the case. People like you don't hold their coach accountable, instead you excuse everything. Furthermore, you love to put other coaches down just to make yourself feel better. You are a hater.

:q3XKXeX:

Petrino is 3 years in with his guys and system, while Richt hasn't completed a season or recruiting cycle of his own, and we just jumped off probation. Not to mention Petrino is following C. Strong and Richt is follwing AG..

Richt: 1 national championship, 2 Heisman winners & 1 Heisman runner-up.

Petrino: no national championships, Heisman winners, or runner-ups.

Anyone who thinks Petrino has Superior Xs and Os to Richt doesn't understand the game or refuses to face reality.

You be quiet!

Mark Richt was not the HC at UGA when they finished top 5 in 2012 and top 10 in 2014.

And even if he was, 2012 and 2014 were a decade ago. The game has changed so much since then ...

And that's actually the main reason Petrino quit. He went to Atlanta to coach Vick. Didn't have him, and the team struggled. Arkansas gave him an easy out!

Yes, Richt was so good he got fired from his job. At least be objective. He consistently had top recruiting classes and you're jerking yourselves off to 9-3 regular season record in 2014. Lost to GT, South Carolina and a will muschamp led Florida gators team that only managed 6 wins. But hey he came in second in his division to Missouri so let's celebrate that.

Be objective and look at what actually happened not just the final ranking. Look at the talent he had and what he did with it, there's always more to the story.

Looked at what happened and saw he teabagged Petrino that year. What else do you want me to do?

Clearly your reading comprehension isn't your strongest suit.

And LOL at the notion that he won a NC as an Offensive Coordinator. Really? Really? You're reaching. **** out of here.

Only morans make excuses for Petrino's corch job while also crying about Richt's corch job. Both ***ked up this year, Richt moreso than Petrino, but why make limpdikk excuses for one and not the other?

Sound like a ***** move. Couldn't coach vick in the NFL so he ran back to Arkansas LMFAO.

Im trying to figure out how the groupies like The Franchise can process that Louisville v Houston game without their heads exploding...

sucked off Herman and he choked the season away, then sucked off Petrino and he choked the season away and lost to Herman lol hilarious

People forget just how small time Louisville was before Petrino.

People were very angry when they played Miami close in 2004. Even though Miami won the game.

That game in 2004 was one heck of a matchup. It also became the blueprint for how teams would try and attack our defense which led to the exposure of Shannon's defense.
