I think we'll play CU

One game is going to improve their draft profiles? I think that is a massive stretch of the imagination.
Just my opinion but I think if scouts have you at the 4-6 range, an outstanding performance in a bowl game can absolutely push you to 3rd round consideration. There’s only 12 games, so each game is around, what 8% of your eval. That’s a significant boost especially if they’ve been waiting to see this or that “one thing” on film to complete them being sold on said player to take them 1 or 2 rounds earlier

And why would Cam risk injury to play in a meaningless bowl game? Answer, he won't
For the same reason Shedeur and Travis Hunter would, should they opt to play in the game.

Those are going to be the first three players taken in the 2025 draft. If Shedeur and Hunter play, Cam should play. You want to be the #1 overall pick, Cam? Go beat the brakes off Shedeur in a bowl game.

If he wants more money to play...give the man more money. He earned it anyway.

CU v. Miami is a premier bowl game for NFL scouts if that is what happens.

Injury risk comes in every game. But that matchup is for real money, NFL money, every scout in the league would be there to watch the top three players in the draft battle it out.

If we end up playing BYU or some other school...for sure. Sit at home.

My comment pertains to a potential CU matchup only and if Shedeur and Hunter play. If its Miami v. CU with Emory and Isaiah Horton v. Ryan Staub and LaJohntay Wester...well, ok. Sit home.

He's done here.
my hope wanting to see ward one more time in a canes uniform is us matching up against ole Miss or South Carolina some how. Ward obviously sees the SEC bias in his interviews and it’s a better chance he’ll play to prove a point against one of those teams

That’s fine. I know that Miami can score but we can’t get enough stops for it to make a difference
None of the marquee players mentioned will be playing in a bowel game. This is pure fantasy.
And, what’s the problem with giving these kids that we recruited and rarely played this season getting some onfield game time. Tell me what’s wrong with that. Mfer’s been b***hing about playing “other” guys. Well, this is their time. No one gives a s**t about this game, except the kids that will play in it, and their families. So, mopes, walk your talk, or STFU about it and enjoy the game🙌🏽

Idk - Ward, maybe, depends on the matchup (if against Shedeur, my guess is he’s in).

Outside of Ward and maybe Martinez (most RBs are mid rounders anyway and have a higher chance of injury), MOST of our remaining guys can actually benefit by playing to increase their respective draft positions. Arroyo-Rivers-Restrepo-Martinez?-Baron-Barrow-Kiko-Meesh-Porter…am I missing anyone…

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.

I'd love to see it.

I appreciate your optimism, because I've been pretty pessimistic / realistic lately.

Sure, I have no problem with those guys playing.

Couldn't care less about any of these bowls - including the playoffs.

We will gimp in with a roster littered with opt outs, and get waxed on national television.

I'll pass on the experience.
But think of the glorious December practices that will undoubtedly poise us for success next year! And all the recruiting opportunities the coaches will have!

Bowl games are fun for the players. Last year's team got to visit NYC before getting skull****ed by Buttgers. Even the trips to El Paso offer some enjoyment and exposure to new cultures. I think it would suck for them to play in the Pop Tarts bowl in Orlando because they can go to Orlando any time. As a player I'd rather wind up in the Fenway, Pinstripe, Military Bowls.
IDGAF if the bowl games are fun for the players. They play at Miami. Are you somehow implying there is a lack of fun to be had in Miami?

Looking like Pop Tarts vs Iowa St

Colorado vs BYU in Alamo Bowl I think
