And why would Cam risk injury to play in a meaningless bowl game? Answer, he won'tIf Cam plays, it'd be fun. Two top QBs choosing to slug it out in the bowl game. Would be a defacto QB1 game.

In that scenario what are the odds ward, Martinez, Arroyo, sanders, and hunter play....slim to noneIt just makes sense
Really? This is your comment? This is the best you got?But how would that be?
Only FSU mercenaries sit out bowl games. Miami's culture won't allow such a thing.
Would you prefer I create a sketch comedy of the last week of CIS having a completely different take on 2024 than 2023 because we are on the **** end of the stick?Really? This is your comment? This is the best you got?
If you have the time, sure. I’d like a late 70’s retro style if you don’t mind. I thought you could do better.Would you prefer I create a sketch comedy of the last week of CIS having a completely different take on 2024 than 2023 because we are on the **** end of the stick?
Being left out of the playoffs
Fears of bowl game opt outs / blow outs
Astonished by UF's high end recruiting class off a 7 win season
HS recruiting class in the teens
"Need to hit the portal hard or we are screwed"
The reactions, overreactions and spin is really something.
He can’t. But it’s still exciting to watch him on the fieldWard can’t play defense
This is what im hoping. I think it would generate ratings. It just makes sense
He's not going to play IMO.my hope wanting to see ward one more time in a canes uniform is us matching up against ole Miss or South Carolina some how. Ward obviously sees the SEC bias in his interviews and it’s a better chance he’ll play to prove a point against one of those teams.
Losing to a Sanders team would put a nice big **** colored bow on the season
Sitting at 9-0 while FSU was 1-8 living a charmed life watching Notre Dame lose to NIU and Florida falling apart
I would prefer to opt out of the bowl completely. As was earlier stated, half or more of the starters won’t be playing. Last thing I want is a 63-3 Georgia/FSU result so the media can point and laugh at us (again) while omitting the part about us playing with a skeleton crew. I know there’s no way we don’t play in a bowl; just wishful thinking.
TBH, I prefer the pre BCS era where all/most of the bowl games were intriguing, with conference affiliations and plenty of controversy. At least plenty of those games were exciting.
After all your hard work at the bench press?Sitting at 9-0 while FSU was 1-8 living a charmed life watching Notre Dame lose to NIU and Florida falling apart
We were just too close to the sun
Finishing the season losing 3 of 4 with the final defeat coming from Sanders?
I understand all that. I also understand that we aren't opting out of a bowl game. I simply think it will suck. Like kissing your cousin. With tongue. Outside of Gainesville of course.maybe as a fan, but coaches want the extra practices for the development of the younger guys. I could understand that perspective. You think guys like Trader and Carr, Lofton, Williams, Lyle, Popo, Day, OJ, Lightfoot, Scott, Blount, etc. wouldn't want to play most of or an entire game against a decent team vs mop up duty?
Idk - Ward, maybe, depends on the matchup (if against Shedeur, my guess is he’s in).Couldn't care less about any of these bowls - including the playoffs.
We will gimp in with a roster littered with opt outs, and get waxed on national television.
I'll pass on the experience.
Bravo sir. This is top notch.Bowl games are fun for the players. Last year's team got to visit NYC before getting skull****ed by Buttgers. Even the trips to El Paso offer some enjoyment and exposure to new cultures. I think it would suck for them to play in the Pop Tarts bowl in Orlando because they can go to Orlando any time. As a player I'd rather wind up in the Fenway, Pinstripe, Military Bowls.
One game is going to improve their draft profiles? I think that is a massive stretch of the imagination.Idk - Ward, maybe, depends on the matchup (if against Shedeur, my guess is he’s in).
Outside of Ward and maybe Martinez (most RBs are mid rounders anyway and have a higher chance of injury), MOST of our remaining guys can actually benefit by playing to increase their respective draft positions. Arroyo-Rivers-Restrepo-Martinez?-Baron-Barrow-Kiko-Meesh-Porter…am I missing anyone…
