I think the light came on!

Ya know a lot of these guys get caught up with these dudes with NFL potential. Stop worrying about NFL potential. I only care if he can get the job done. Kansas won with a 5’9 midget, OU QB’s have forever been guys who wouldn’t cut it in the league, Auburn played for a title with a CB playing QB. If that guy is the 5* with tools then ok or if he’s a guy that’s not highly ranked but he wins like Buckshot Calvert then ok. Too many guys with the tools fail while the guy who wins, puts up numbers, but is 6 foot or can’t throw the ball 55 yards with zip usually outdoes their perceived value.
Exactly. Rick is way too caught up in measurables. That’s how he wound up with Parks, Ramsey, Bauta, and almost got stuck with Pickowski.

It's the old "You can't teach _______" Speed, size, arm strength, whatever. Measureables count. The smartest noodle arm quarterback in the world is still a noodle armed quarterback. However, they're not the only thing that counts. Just because ole Uncle Rico can throw the ball over them there mountains doesn't mean he's going to be a good quarterback. Finding the balance between "can he play?" and "can he play at the college level?" is paramount.

Load up on the lines, WR is fine if you only take 1, take 2 tight ends & RBs but if Homer stays take 1. Good on lbs at the moment with who is committed. Then at db snag Battle, Nunn, and hope for Stevenson. Possibly drop Good if all 3 of those DB’s come.

They need to take a large class for this cycle since they only took 23 last year I believe and are still short of the 85 scholarship limit.
We wil maybe get 1 of the 3 if that.I hope I'm 1000% wrong ,but I have no faith in our recruiting we hardly ever get who we want!

Why wasn't Wardrick Wilson being recruited before, anyone know? Also can't wait to hear the potential QB names. Wish we would recruit Lance Legendre that decommited from Kansas.

He has been recruited for a long time, just not offered.
