He doesn’t deserve to be fired, but this season can go up in a puff of smoke, if he can’t get a high caliber QB in the portal again. He’s also got another issue on his hands that he can’t ignore and it will be used as gigantic negative recruiting issue, the DC. The kids we were fighting to flip on the defensive side of the ball, particularly the DBs, aren’t coming here to play for Guidry, so there’s no salvaging that, but if he wants a chance in the portal he has to make a change.

I respect this especially with after everything thats happened so far personally with recruiting and such. Respect.

Mario needs help hiring coaches but his ego is so large he won’t allow himself to invite other people’s opinions.Thats why it takes him so **** long to hire coaches cause he thinks if he just takes forever to hire someone he must be doing it right not realizing while he’s taking forever all the good coaches have gone elsewhere and all he’s left to pick from all MEH coaches who he has to pray work out.
He needs to sit down with someone like Jimmy or maybe even a Bilichek or Saban to figure out what a good OC/DC looks like and what’s one that’s fooled gold looks like cause it sure looks to me like he had no clue doing it the way he’s doing cause all these continued failures don’t help a thing when it comes to staff continuity.

Bottom line, we still lose to teams we shouldn’t. This means we still operate below expectations. We never play above our pay grade. We just are never smart enough. We don’t come in as the underdog and win. We barely scrape by as the favorite, or lose as the favorite. That’s an ugly 10 wins, it’s meaningless and doesn’t feel that good.
