I was never a hater or a slurper , just thought he was a nice slot / return guy . I didn't think he was as great as the slurpers made him or as bad as the haters .

That being said, his route running is phenomenal . In and out of his breaks quick as **** . Really crisp .
 
Yeah comp at slot gonna be good. Berrioes either balls out or rides the pine .

Who else plays slot? Malcolm?

That's a misleading title. Anyone with any sense only had unsavory things to say about the lack of crispness in the way (it was perceived) that he handled his recruitment for about 2 weeks. Between Bruce and Richards and hopefully Mullins, we're set at WR this class BIG time. That's why anyone that was truly pained by some clown that used us to upgrade his USF offer to a Volunqueer one are really just looking for something to whine about. Kaaya should be walking around with a constant chubby based on the weapons he has and is getting.

If you think only 4 WR's will get passes thrown to them you're crazy...Especially considering we need to have one of the incoming freshman make a big impact this year to attract people to sign with us. WR's don't mind committing to a school that is stacked at WR if they see them spreading the ball all over the place. If we have 8 scholarship WR's and all of them have been targeted 10+ times it looks really attractive to someone looking for early playing time or someone who needs proof that they can get playing time as a freshman instead of auto-redshirt type of thing

Historically we rarely play more than 5-6 guys in a season. I think his impact will be the impact we thought berrios would have here. I think Bruce will instantly make some really good impact year 1.

I think people were expecting more by now. He's gotta show us something next season.


- Barely averaged 4 yards a punt return, good for 57th in the country. If you think about it, you could field a punt and just lunge forward and average that. If you had a stroke on every punt return with the wind at your back, you'd be as successful at returning punts as Braxton Berrios.

- His claim to fame as of right now is having a TD pass bounce off his face like Air Bud in the FSU game.


Hopefully he's healthy and it clicks because we obviously need the help at WR.
