What can't you understand about this statement? I'll walk you through because you haven't learned to read. The first class sucked because they hired Golden late. Where are all the great players in this class? I'll be waiting! Second class we got one great player and a handful of real good players, I loved Lewis he got hurt, I thought he was the best player behind Duke that we recruited. I saw many of these kids play in person, always though Howard was over rated, saw him and Bush play, I thought Bush was better and he got hurt. Flowers very good, saw Hamilton play in Bama, over rated. The rest are below average to average at best and most are probably gone or should have been. Again, most great players didn't even have Miami in their top 3 like they do today.

Is he doing a great job getting QB's now that the mess has lifted, you betcha. Keep the 16 class going and we will be all the way back. The 2001 team was run by a bad coach and still won because of the massive talent on that team. Talent can over come most anything, IMO.

QB recruiting has been pretty good considering the circumstances.
Sorry but anyone expecting blue chip QBs to be lining up to play QB for a program with an uncertain future isn't really bright.
The fact that he was able to get a 4 star kid in Olsen and followed it up with Kayaa tells me all I need to know.

As for DT, a few reasons affected DT recruiting.. One being that the local DT talent pool has been down. Tell me which local DT recruit has gone on to make an impact wherever they ended up signing?
As for the misses, out of state kids like Goldman got spooked by the threat of sanctions. For as much as you all want to play down the affect the uncertain nature of the times it was real.

Are you expecting a NC with no starting QB? Not one good QB would come the first few years because of potential sanctions, so you expecting miracles. Just a handful of very good players came in general, ya think your expectations are a bit too high? lol Dope Never seen so many **** dumb asses on one site. The D sucked because we had bad players, pretty easy to see, the D line still is average at best.
