I’m starting to get the sense…

Everyone is beatable but the only reason we had a prayer of getting in the playoff was because we played a garbage ACC schedule

If you all have been in the realignment thread, we've had this sense for a while...and we all realize how significant it is haha. Where have you all been? Coming out of college, would you rather play in the AFC, NFC or Canadian league? Not rocket science.
Personally I'd rather play for the lingerie league

That ACC membership is a recruiting liability.

I’ve heard all of the other reasons/excuses as to why our class didn’t end up where we thought it would, but this seems to be a forgotten one.

There is no way SEC and B1G coaches aren’t telling blue-chip recruits that the ACC is a joke of a conference. They wouldn’t be doing their job if they weren’t. The narrative is forming and people will soon think of the ACC and Big 12 as closer to the G5 than the Power 2.

Every single 5-star prospect signed with an SEC or B1G program and that’s not a coincidence. With each passing year, it’s going to get harder for Mario to recruit, no matter how well he does on the field.

We have to get the **** out of this conference before we drift off into complete irrelevancy.
Yea we have to leave fast

Seriously.. Guys are a few years late.. The crack have been there..

This a few days ago not sure how it looks now but yea gets the point across..

But they said recruiting would be different under the NIL era. I said it will be the same sh and it is

It is as clear as day that the ACC is a dying conference, even with some solid teams this year. I think it really did hurt in recruiting. I’m sure the BIG/SEC has a bigger recruiting/Nil budget simply for the fact they have bigger TV deals. Miami thinks they’re ‘overspending’ when that’s not really the case, they’re just playing under a different ‘salary cap’

I just took a look and ****..

ACC and Big 12 combined 5*:
ESPN: 2/20
Rivals: 1/28
On3: 0 - highest ranked player is #41
On3 composite: 0 - highest ranked player #36
247: 3/32
247 composite: 0/34

SEC/B1G combined 5*:
ESPN: 18/20
Rivals: 26/28
On3: 24/25
On3 composite: 31/32
247: 29/32
247 composite: 34/34

Notre Dame got 1 on Rivals, On3 and the On3 composite.

This is.. beyond bad.

And people think going to the Big 12 is the answer? That'd be like moving to the project next door and convincing yourself things are better.

I am going to have to change my user name as I’m no longer batting 1.000. I have to admit I finally got something wrong.

I thought the 12 team playoff would help teams like Miami, because top recruits would see they don’t have to just go to Bama or UGA to be competitive for the playoffs and could pick a school they actually want to attend. I expected there to be a greater distribution of top talent and it would make cfb overall more competitive. Went exactly the opposite way. It would be interesting for someone to do an autopsy of recruiting season and explain how Miami could go from a top 5 class after a 7 win season to the #14 class after a 10 win season. I am not able to come up with an explanation.

I was looking at some top classes and recruits and most of the names I never even heard, its like we was recruiting in the little kids bin or something with some names floated that was never coming or even visiting here, lol..

Like I said, the game changed right before our eyes but most still dont realize it.. This could be a post in itself but most would probably be in denial.. We could barely get top dawgs to visit, I dont even recognize most of the names lmaoo..

I'm all for moving to the Big10 or SEC (prefer Big10), but considering we have never even won the ACC once, do you really believe we could compete for a Big10 or SEC championship? Honest question as I have serious doubts

We won’t anything of significance if we don’t leave.

Plus, I’d rather play in the big-boys league than win championships a glorified G5 league. One matters and the other is irrelevant. It’s that simple to me.
