Hurricanes currently sitting at (-16)

All the money is moving towards Miami..... you all are seeing it the wrong way.

Vegas wants to win big regardless if the favorite or the underdog covers..... If all the money is moving to one side they will try to **** with the lines to get people to jump ship and put it on the other.... in this case USF.

No pick is 100% but i wouldnt fall for it..... i'm still all in on Miami covering BIG.

You're not... a smart person.

says the person that thinks Miami is "reallY" 1-0.... lol hilarious.

My point is still valid.... Vegas is trying to get everyone to panic by the moving the lines. It happens all the time, they want betters to move over to USF on this game, simple as that.

Sharp money or not, I would bet a majority of the sharp money is on Miami.

You aren't thinking about this correctly or you are trolling. The line moves the way the money moves. Despite more people betting on Miami, more money is being bet on USF hence the line movement.

Yes the line moves 90% of the time where the money moves.... but i have bet enough times to know that sometimes Vegas is full of ****. Thats my point.

its either they are trying to get betters to panic or all the "sharp money" betters have sling blade moments where they make dumbass bets.

Over thinking can mess you up

Ha, Vegas isn't in the game of playing hunches. You don't have a point, 100% of the time the line moves were the money moves. They aren't over thinking anything because they bet on pure data. Right now thespread.com has 87% of the bets coming in on Miami but the line is down 2 pts the other way, that is a lot of cash on USF.

That said sharps are wrong a lot. There are usually looking at a 2-3% ROI on their total bets through out a year. I have loaded up on Miami 1st half and game. Let's hope we are all right in this thread and we all see a beat down and make a lot of money.

But yeah I'm surprised so much money is flowing to USF.

They've been an utter train wreck. People really expect them to beat the spread?

FAU 28
USF 10

That is all

i shouldve just said this..... smh.

these dudes are over thinking **** seriously.... now all of a sudden USF is finna turn into a World beater against Miami. lol hilarious.

We'll have 16.5 covered by halftime or I'll drink my own pee

You'll do that regardless of the score.

No different than unsweetened hot tea my friend.
But if we don't blow this team away, if we don't cover 20.5 (the spread before we knew Morris was starting), then we have a serious problem IMHO

If Stephen Morris played in a wheelchair, we'd still crush these guys by 30. Am I missing something here?

Da fug is happening with this line. -20 earlier in the day.

this, the $$ is moving

4 points in a day smells rotten

They want to get the bettors to move over to USF, and they are doing that by making the USF bet more expensive and less attractive? Right. Sounds legit. Smh.

Can you please go follow a different team? K? Thx.

Exactly right. Zone is completely wrong as usual. Vegas doesn't try to pick winners. They want to try to get the money as even on both sides as possible so they have zero risk. All they want it the vig. That's why they're the house. These are multi billion dollar publicly traded corporations. They don't play "hunches" lol. Listen to all the people smarter than yourself, Zonie.

In fact, most bookies will bet with other bookies to even out the money if their clients have bet a ton on one side.

Smh.

Thats my point.... "The 90% remark" was sarcasm

I said either vegas is trying to get betters to panic or the sharp money betters have sling blade moments where they make dumbass bets..... so its obviously not the "Vegas is trying to get betters to panic" option.

You just said that "sharps are wrong a lot"...... BINGO

Lol bomb let it go you've had a hard on for me ever since i challenged you on your retarded notion that Miami is "only 1-0" gtfoh, you are trying to hard.

You have no concept of how the point spread works. You've made that very clear in this thread.

But keep trying. It's entertaining.

talking to my guy he said bet Miami even if the line moved down to -12. Feeling is that Vegas feels Miami wont run up the score and that our 2nd and 3rd stringers wont have as much success like they did against Sav St. making the game closer then it should be once starters are out.

Its a long line of ppl on this site waiting to troll me, just grab a ticket and wait ur turn. lol

your comment has nothing to do w/ the post you quoted......

I understand perfectly how a spread works seeing as i've been making sports bets online and in "secret" locations for the last 5 years..... not understanding 100% all the reasons WHY a spread moves is completely different.

Which i had no problems admitting when i took in what dycane was teaching me in his response.

But your porsting in a zone thread anyway, you did make that comment.... maybe you should try harder so ppl can say your posting in a "CanesAreAble" thread, well a zone thread rolls off the tongue a lot easier.

Wow thats not a smart "feeling" coming from Vegas.... USF is a BCS school, Miami wont run up the score, but beating a team by more then 16 or 18 isnt running up the score.

..... and why would our coaches put or 2nd and 3rd string players in a game against USF unless Miami is up by 40 w/ 2 minutes left in the 4th?

I guess his feeling was right. We covered like he said but we didn't try and run it up and they scored on our 2nd and 3rd making it closer then it should have been

Yeah you can say that but I said that I didnt think beating a team by more then 18 points is running up the score. To bring the spread down to 16 b/c of that notion isnt fully understanding what running up the score is imo.
