If this kid comes to UM a bunch of you guys owe his family a bigtime apology (just like with Deon Bush). There have been numerous disparaging comments about how Howard and his Mom are on the take. smh

This makes absolutely no sense. Committing to Miami doesnt preclude him being offered $$$ by other schools. One has nothing to do with the other. And who is to say he didnt get at least a little "advance" money from those other schools??? lol.

The guy has been to several games this year at least. He's been to at least one game with his parents. He's been to practices. You know AG has been in his ear. He's interested.

But he wants to be with a winner, at least with potential to win. I've read that he wants to get away and that florida was his favorite early on, but he sees the sFlorida talent on this team, (guys he played with this summer) and he knows he can play right away. AG has a plan.

Howard himself has been consistent in that "he wants to get away" for college. This wasnt fabricated by people on the web. That being said, hopefully Golden, Duke , Deon, M.Lewis and Waters have made him get in touch with his inner pride for his city

I don't know where this kid is going but if he is building drama, which based on the comments in this thread, it appears he is...the ESPN announcement is your explanation.

I still don't think he ends up here (mostly thanks to Shapiro), but everyone needs to recognize the effort this staff is putting in.

Maybe not this year or next, but it will start to really pay off eventually.
