How you spend your money

Imagine thinking Texas or Ohio State with budgets nearly 2x ours wouldn't just match.

I guess in your world it was also just a coincidence that every single composite 5* in the 2025 class went to the SEC/B10/ND.
And people thought NIL would level the playing field 🙄. Now The big schools don't even have to worry about whether paying a certain recruit is worth getting caught, they can just pay everyone.

For those saying we don’t have the budget of Oregon or Ohio State, my point is that instead of paying what we did for Baron we could have added that to Stewart’s compensation. Instead of paying Sam Brown we could have added it to Jeremiahs package. So if they are both around $1m you could bump it to $1.2-$1.6m with the Baron/Brown funds. I’m guessing Baron was around 600k mainly because I heard Bud Elliot say that was the going rate for quality dlineman.

I remember during the recruiting process DMoney saying they viewed Stewart as first pick in the draft talent. If that’s the case why not go all out like South Carolina did.

Yeah what would Texas have done if Miami got serious about money for Simmons??

This year has already showed what we can expect
Baring some
Upsets each year like ASU almost pulled
We can expect to see
B10 v SEC
Matchups non stop w ND in there as well

I hate to say it but it’s staring us in the face

ESPN has a boner as they got what they want
Texas, PSU OSU and Geo/ND

Next year maybe bama is back or mich (notice how they played each other)….mix back in LSU Tennessee maybe A&M plus Oregon and maybe a USC if they figure it out

And boom
That’s all they need annually

They both signed out of high school before the portal opened, so was probably the opposite and Baron/Brown were signed with the Stewart/Smith funds

Not optimistic at all for Miami in the NIL era if we stay in the ACC. The B1G and $EC will pull further and further away each season and the U simply won't be able to match or surpass offers for these elite players.

I was optimistic pre-NIL if we just had the right staff and investment from the admin. We've improved in those two areas but NIL and the Big Two conferences are a problem.

SO go into the season with all freshman expected to play? What happens if you miss after paying freshman elite money? Who has a higher hit rate freshman out of HS expected to play immediately or Juniors/Seniors in College with a lot of tape on film already.

Also what if us getting Cam Ward unlocked more money available to us in the spring?..

Its really not as easy as yall are making it out to be lol.
