How you finish...

I think most people before the season expected or hoped for a 10 win season and the Coastal division title. But when you are sitting 10-0 finishing 10-3 is a kick in the nuts.

We got lucky in beating FSU and GT should never have lost to Pitt and if not for that awful INT that completed flipped the Whisky game we might still be sitting 10-3 just with different W and L.

This roster was a top 15 team roster and it showed. There are a lot of holes that Richt had to fix and he has done a **** good job to get Miami headed in the right direction. Think about it, it’s the first 10 win season in 15 years and 1st coastal title EVER! That’s just but how bad our program was for so long. Can’t change it all over night.

I think a lot of us fans didn't want to believe how bad of a program we actually were the last 15 years. We didn't want to face it but we were bad.

When you are out of the championship discussion for 15 years and other programs within a days drive of your prime recruiting area have developed superior programs, win multiple championships and some even are considered dynasties, you’re going to struggle to sign the cream of the crop. I’ve heard the excuses, like “we can’t get them all.” No kidding. I’m talking about the best of the best. The Dalvin Cooks, the Amari Coopers, the Calvin Ridleys, the Boza brothers, the Jerry Jeudys, should I go on, ... the elite of the elite. Someone smarter than me tell me what % of these elite kids have we signed in the last 3-4 years. Just speaking the truth here that’s all. Not dumping on CMR. His job is tough enough. And I believe he will eventually turn this trend around. But he DOES have to change things. And when that happens then we’ll be in the discussion again.

Since the Duke Johnson/T Howard class, we have signed only 1 of the 247 composite top 5 rated recruits that play in south florida per year. It isn't going to be easy, but we need to do better. And before anyone says it, this is based on rankings not necessarily my opinion.

2013 - Stacey Coley
2014 - Chad Thomas
2015 - Mark Walton
2016 - Sam Bruce
2017 - Navaughn Donaldson
(pending) 2018 - Nesta Silvera

The trend could obviously change this class, but it depends on landing the AH corner backs to do it.

It's actually pretty impressive that we got any of those guys, but yeah we need to do better now.

Every thread he brings up will get derailed.
So guilty until proven innocent.
Ok, it's a low IQ/critical thinking skills rationalizing thing, but I get it. Luckily sensible people crafted laws otherwise.

So if I change my name to HitlerMcNi**erKiller I deserve the benefit of the doubt?
Reductio ad absurdum is also a byproduct of low IQ/critical thinking skills. But you can't be cognizant of that.

Why can't you just be satisfied. For the last 8 months you've had so much excitement. We have been cleaning up studs all over and only have had 1 disappointment in Jobe. Tyson and Pat barely even showed any attention to us and now you will feel like we lost if we don't get one? Would you take Tyson if it meant losing Jordan or Noodles? Cause those things could have happened.

Latin mumbo jumbo aside, my point stands. Why should we assume that a person with a questionable name isn't racist? Why, in this case, is assuming "innocence" superior? And while innocent until proven guilty may be a good idea legally, but it's not a measure of intelligence. Nice try though.

It would be impressive if we weren't the home team.

I'm not kidding, I'm impressed that with the teams randy and al fielded we were able to get any of those guys. Home team or no, there comes a time when nobody believes that a corch is going to improve.
