How Many Will Miami Win Next Year?

For **** sake. We have the absolute worst fans at times.

Why because the Gatorade coolers just ran out of orange and green koolaid. I hate to say it but I think realilty has hit this fan base straight in the face, and unfortunately yes we have a hard time swallowing it. I was one of those slurpers.

14-0. Al's got everyone right where he wants them. He's been playing possum, and year 4 is always his year.

Louisville-W
FSU-Toss up
Va Tech-Toss up
Cincinnati-W
Nebraska-W
North Carolina-Toss Up
Duke-W
Pitt-W
Virginia-W
Georgia Tech-W
Arkansas State-W
FAMU-W

At least 9 wins.... Give golden credit our record has stayed the same or improve each year. We will not regress

UM's record vs. teams with even the slightest pulse is putrid, couple that with only one or two guaranteed W's currently on the schedule and I don't know how anyone can look at next season without fearing for a historically embarrassing performance. The only question is, will it get this loser Golden out of here or is UM stuck with him after next season regardless of record?

Upward trend, so 10 wins. Then the next year 11, the next 12. That's how upward trends go, right? You just look at the wins and losses, and not at any other relevant data, ie, strength of schedule, etc., and just extrapolate from there, correct?

Realistically, with that schedule, it's going to be a miserable season, which is good for us. A little short term pain is worth it if it brings change.

By my calculations, we will playing 10 teams that went bowling this year.

(1) Louisville, (2) FSU, (3) VTech, (4) Cincy, (5) Nebraska, (6) North Carolina, (7) Duke, (8) Pitt, (9) Georgia Tech & (10) Arkansas State

No wonder Big Fat Al wants out.

My answers are to the question: "Is this game winnable?"

Louisville - Yes
FSU - No
Va Tech - No
Cincinnati - Yes
Nebraska - Yes
North Carolina - Yes
Duke - Yes
Pitt - Yes
Virginia - Yes
Georgia Tech - Yes
Arkansas State - Yes
FAMU - Yes

Duke has a ton of returning starters.
As does Nebraska.
As does UNC.

Remember, there is a glass ceiling here you're not accounting for. Golden doesn't beat teams with 8 or more wins.

I see at least 4 8-win teams there.

I'm being generous with these. 10-2 absolute best case scenario but extremely unlikely. Those might be 8 win teams, but who knows what they'll end up next year.

Subscribing to the haters, I'll say two or three.

Subscribing to the slurpers, I'll say 10 or 11.

Why do people think Nebraska is any good? They have done nothing but suck under Pelini. Louisville will not be the same team as they were this year no Teddy B or Charlie Strong.

I don't think Nebraska is any good. Their fanbase is more agitated with Pelini then we are with Golden keeping the same staff around.

The two guaranteed losses on the schedule next year are at home against FSU, and at Blacksburg against Va Tech. I think we'll finish either 2nd or 3rd in the division. D'Onofrio will still be around in the 2015 season.

7-6 or 8-5 depending on our Bowl game
Maybe we play a Ball State or something in a **** bowl and pull out a win.
