How Many Will Miami Win Next Year?

6-7 games...if anyone thinks more than that, they need to open their eyes and watch today's UM team. How can we not be disgracing past greats by calling this team "the U"? This team hasn't been "the U" in years an won't be any time soon...thats reality

7-5, which should be enough to get him fired since that's exactly what got Randy fired.

8 wins. And the team loses its fan base after our second loss and after we give up 500 more yards. Golden will not make it through next year. I'm a golden supporter but if he cant cut the cord with his defense then he will lose the whole fan base which will happen after the second loss. By games 9-12 the fan base will show the administration their feeling as it did when UM played USF in Randys last game. I've been a donor and season ticket holder in Goldens 1st three years. I've made my commitment to him. If he does nothing to make changes to his defense then obviously he hasn't made a commitment for the betterment of the program. In that case I see no need to continue my commitment to him.

Duke has a ton of returning starters.
As does Nebraska.
As does UNC.

Remember, there is a glass ceiling here you're not accounting for. Golden doesn't beat teams with 8 or more wins.

I see at least 4 8-win teams there.

Wow. I'm just hoping we win at least 6 games and become bowl eligible. The extra month of practices are a big deal (at least that's what Golden was using as an excuse).

Seriously, we had the WORST defense in the ACC this year and it's only going to get WORSE next year. Has anyone actually looked at the DL depth for 2014? Depressing.

Oh, one more thing, we have the SAME **** coaching staff coming back. Why would any smart person expect to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result?

Unless one of the QBs shows up with consistant quality play, we can lose all but maybe 2 games. I am sure we will win 4 more, just don't know which ones. Since we will have continuity, the one thing we know is that about 8 teams will hang 500+ yards on us. We might beat the ones that make mistakes, but probably lose to those who do not. The only game on the list that I might put any money on would be GT. They appear to have the ONLY offense that Al's defense can beat--unless Johnson comes up with another twist.

Our season is in the hands of the QB, whoever that is. Unless the players secretly install a different defense at night and over the summer, and then call their own plays on the field, we will CONTINUOUSLY give up over 500 hundred yards to anyone with a pulse. This board needs to never complain about any player ever again. Al speaks the truth when he says it is on him. Let's keep it there until it crushes him. If the player is on the field, he is doing what Al wants, so stop blaming any individual for breakdowns. If coach has you 10 yards away, you cannot magically cover someone cutting accross the middle just because THE PLAN says that is your responsibilty.

Even Arkansas State is a bowl team and they won their bowl. If our 500 yard a game defense shows up, they could put up some points on us in front of 7,000 fans at sun life.

8-2

Play in the Russell bowl again and get steamed rolled against Wisconsin.

9-3, Golden gets an extension for 2 more years and salary goes up to 3 million.

Have fun
