How many games does an all South Florida team win? (revisited)

This is a strange definition of playoff worthy. McIntosh actually was the starting RB on the champs, and put up 175 total yards in the playoffs (9.2 yards per touch). How is he not "playoff worthy?" Your statement that the RB/WR combo "isn't better than any of the teams in the top 8 this past year" is indefensible. An NFL RB and four NFL WRs isn't better than any of the Top 8 teams?

And do you really think JJ McCarthy is better than Jordan Travis? Why?

As for the OL being the "downfall" of the team, Tennessee and Alabama were two of the three top scoring offenses in the nation. This team has both of their Left Tackles. Kadeem Telfort is an NFL Draft prospect and All-Conference first-team guy. Marcus Tate is a blue-chipper who has started since his true freshman year at Clemson. The weak spots are two guys who were invited to post-season All-Star games. The line averages 6'5, 322 lbs.

As for the rest, here are a few examples: you dismiss a first-team All-American and a two-time first-team All-ACC player as not good enough. You say that Nesta is not playoff worthy as the 4th DT, even as he got invited to the Senior Bowl Bowl and the combine. What do you think playoff rosters look like?

We can revisit after the draft, but I suspect at 10-12 of these guys get drafted with more to come.
What’s your scoop on draft buzz for Davis? I liked him out of high school and was disappointed he got lost in the mix at Oregon to a point of position change. Was happy that he transferred and found a place to play consistently but didn’t think that would precipitate into a draft pick look.

Yeah, I mean, a chance. And Flowers has a chance. If I had to put money I'd bet they both go 25-50. Just saying, team is lacking some high-end star power, and I don't love the OL. Turner is the best player on the team, IMO.

But **** it, team SFL... let's roll.
This i agree a bit...BUTTTTTT.... thats because the good players on the team are playing at schools like Wake, Syracuse, and BC and most of yall have never watched them.

UGA doesnt have a single wr on their roster better than Perry or Flowers for example.

Turner is a beastly young talent. I think the OL is pretty solid honestly. I mean most ppl LOOOVE SEC, SEC,SEC, there is a ton of SEC starting bookend minutes on that team.

The Battle..Jo Jo Kinchens duo at safety is pretty good...corner depends on the scheme with them.

I’m confused by this thread & since I’m being called out, lemme set the record str8 for the umpteenth time: The problem w/ So Fla natives is ya’ll r putridly biased w very little objectivity. It doesn’t matter is Gorman, Bosco, De La Salle, Mater Dei run through ur teams, nor does it matter that other states have produced a high amount of blue chip players; it’s a So Fla 3* is another states’ blue chip & that’s disingenuous & disrespectful af. We acting like Aaron Rodgers wasn’t a 3-star, or Josh Allen, Justin Jefferson, Tom Brady, TJ Watt, Cooper Kupp, etc etc etc.

I’ve never trashed So Fla players, like ever. If anything, I’ve been the biggest advocate of getting the best players from the back yard & poach nationally. But to act like FB lives & dies in So Fla is foolish af.

And why r u acting like we haven’t had a team full of So Fla players? lol. The greater majority of our team & starters have been from So Fla for quite some time. From 5*’s, 4*’s, 3*’s to UR. I would argue out of all the teams that’s won Nat’l Titles, our So Fla roster compared to theirs is on a 5:1 ratio on avg. & it’s led to nothing.
So have those southern california heavy teams out west.

Im on ya head boy lol..Post ya team @Rellyrell. If me and @DMoney Squads look better you owe me a sz 13 in something brother.

Im talking greater LA, Los Angeles, Orange Counties......i dont want to see no San Diego's, Bakersfield and all them other counties.

lmfao @ gogeta abandoning all civility toward Relly. This man is furious at the disrespect. If Relly responds, gogeta gonna tell this man to meet him at Titanic tomorrow as the replacement fight for CiO-gordonsolie as neither made weight.
Im on his asz...lol
Im bringing the ghost of Howard Schnellenberger for his panzy *** Pete Carroll led squads.

They double down on them being wrong when we did this BEFORE the szn.

Mcintosh WAS the starting rb for the champs..,..matter of fact a s.fla back was UGAS best rb the last 2 **** years...but...not playoff worthy lol

I dont like Jordan Travis that much...but he is a legit gamer...and Michael Pratt is LEGIT as well.

Im not even gonna go to the OL since most of these posters dont understand the position anyway. Clemson is a perennial playoff team with undraftable OL. When the weak links on your ol are 3 year starters and guys slotted to the interior ...your line is good.

The thing is...we have posters from other areas of the country on here....post Yall local (local meaning the neighboring 2/3 counties) teams for reference. Im calling yall out.

Houston- @JustAFanHTX @htownkidd
Dallas- @TheSwagger1
LA- @Rellyrell
South Carolina- @Nick_conlan @SouthCak Cane
Nebraska_ @CANEMC
Atlanta- @AtlAtty @Andrew
I think i could do upstate sc if i also get rock hill/charlotte. Otherwise it would be pretty hard. Not touching sfl

Wait! Lol; why can’t I pull in the SD??! SD is only 2 hrs away! Ya’ll be claiming Orlando on down!! Lmao!!

I aint with the hootin n hollering brah post your LA team. lol

I dont care bout Gorman, Bosco, De lasalle none a that sh*t...they all done got the beats too...so nice list.

This aint about what we (um) got or recruited....this is a simple thread based off of last year...DMONEY posted it before the szn and now he respawned it.

Post your All LA squad or get off the pot blood. I'm expecting the LA team should be loaded since theirs million more ppl.

IM S.FLA BIAS......but ive ALWAYS been the 1 pointing to the "right" s.fla kids to recruit....and would always post what cities nationally we should be recruiting EVERY CYCLE.

*Newsflash* It didnt matter if we had a team full of Alaska players the jack azzes that been coaching us for years have been terrible at developing no matter where the kids were coming from.

So are we doing all time or for a particular class? Lemme know.

QB: Jordan Travis was good not great. Don't think he was better than any QB in the top 8 teams. Playoff worthy is a stretch.
RB: Same for McIntosh and Gore/Parrish aren't playoff caliber backs.
WR: Flowers good and the rest meh. Perry is a good, not great, system WR. Brooks was nothing special.
OL: Not playoff caliber at all and would be the downfall of this "team"
DL: Good production from top two guys but Silvera, Dorlus, LT aren't playoff caliber in any way
OLB: Good enough
S: Battle is excellent and Kam got the INTs (why he got AA). Chance to be great but wasn't this year. Way too many busts.
CB: Nothing close to elite
C’mon man!!! You don’t need 65 NFL players to win it all lol. Even the chiefs ain’t got as much talent as you are requesting. Not everyone needs to be elite, just fit the scheme

I'm stating facts. You're stating conclusions, with no support.

You said it was a stretch to claim McIntosh was playoff caliber. I pointed out the obvious- he started, for the champs, and put up numbers in the playoffs. Now you've shifted the goalposts to say McIntosh isn't elite. OK. I agree. Who were the elite RBs in the playoffs?

Another example of a conclusion with no support: you say "this DT group wouldn't even be in the top 5 of the SEC defensive line groups." Can you list those DL groups to compare?

Show me five DL groups that have this type of talent:

- A first-team All-American
- A first-team All-Big 10 player
- A first-team All-Pac 12 player
- A Senior Bowl and combine invitee

And that doesn't even include the EDGE players.

Leonard Taylor, a Top 5 player in his class who has 19 TFLs and 5 sacks in his first two years, doesn't even sniff the Top 4. Do you really think there are five DL rotations in the SEC where he's not in the Top Four DTs? Where are they?
I'm traveling so don't have time for this but you're employing more attorney tactics.

I gave you the hard stats about McIntosh. 74th in YPG and 41st in YPC. I guess by your definition then Miyan Williams is a playoff caliber RB too?

As for DLines in the SEC the Bama, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, and probably Auburn or Kentucky lines are at least as good as this group you pointed out.

Leonard Taylor is a 5* talent that hasn't done much yet ... are you pretending that the SEC teams/OSU/MICH/Clemson don't have two or three 5* guys that haven't played a bunch yet on every top team?

The whole exercise is flawed anyway since you're cherry picking the most productive players out of literally hundreds of players from FL. In fact, one could say that's a pretty awful list considering the shear number of D1 players from FL that there aren't many elite players on that list.

This Leonard Taylor??.

Miami defensive tackle Leonard Taylor was named by Max Chadwick of Pro Football Focus as one of the “Top 10 returning interior defensive linemen in college football for the 2023 season.” Taylor had 24 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and an interception playing on a Miami defensive line that frequently rotated.

Taylor improved upon his numbers as a true freshman in 2021 when he had 21 tackles, 8.5 TFLs and two sacks.

You watch the canes on saturday?. He aint been completely beasting...but the hasnt done much thing is out the window with Taylor.

The Shemar Stewart's and Marvin Jones Jr's arent even on this team. lol Those are the 5 stars you speaking of fromt he SEC...ill let you guess where they are from.
