His freshman year was elite. Explosive big play machine. Its a **** shame coley didnt raise his game year after year but i wont only blame him most thr blame falls on these so called coaches we had

How good is richards?

How good is he you ask

So good that nick saban went to wellington for a home visit around the same time he was in the playoffs. Thats how good he is that the great nick saban took time in his schedule to sit down on his home couch for acouple hours. Thats how good he is

based on HS tape I rank em like this:

Watkins

Coley/Cooper
Richards/Ridley

lolz at Rudolph.

As bad as our coaches were, Coley was finally used properly last year. We were a spread offense all season and Coley was in the slot, where he often was covered by Safeties and/or 3rd string CB's. Severe mismatch.

Agreed. We did use him correctly at times, he still didn't touch the ball enough.

He was killing pretty much every DB he faced this year. And unlike last year, his hands were excellent.

IMHO he's a rich man's Travis Rudolph.

I was going to say poor man's Rashad Greene. Lol

Richard is better than Greene

Stop it.

No sarcasm...why was this downvoted? You're saying Richards really is better than the all time leading receiver at Florida state university?

I hate the school as much as (probably more) than many Canes fans...but c'mon now.

IMO, Richards has a higher ceiling then Greene coming out of HS. Greene ended up in an ideal situation from a production standpoint, playing with 2 1st round QBs.

Greene was more polished

LOL @ Ridley's age being the reason he embarrasses people in the SEC.

Come on man, embarrassing people? With an 11.7 avg he is embarrassing SEC defenses? He is the benefactor of playing 15 games a 2219 yard Brink Truck and the recipient of 126 targets. He had 7 games where he avg less than 10 ypc and avg 69 yards a game on the season. That is 1 more yard a game than Coley avg. Coley had half the chances as Ridley. Played in 5 fewer games and had 61 fewer balls aimed his way.

I don't care how old the dude is or care that he went to Bama over Miami. The nut swallowing convention up in this thread over a dude that had 126 balls thrown his way in 15 games is overboard.

I bet if Coley had 126 balls tossed his way and played 15 games. People wouldn't be busting a nut to down play him every chance they can.

Are you people calling coley elite? Lol. Maybe elite at smokin herb. He has done nothing here besides penalties and good game against weak teams. Ridleys 1 season is better the Coleys 3 years. If Richards get coached up like he should he will have every opportunity to be a high draft pick. Coaches gotta coach the chit out of these boys.
8 catchea for 130+ yards against FSU this year

1 game in 3 years against a talented team
you said he had gpod games only against weak opponents. I gave you an example of how that wasmt true . But I guess he was "doing nothing" when he led the team in all purpose yards as a freshman and was named freshman all American.
There are two ghey extremes with UM fans: the guys who think every player everywhere else is way better than our guys and trashes everything about our guys; and the guys who think all of our guys walk on water.

Rest assured that if this mook, M3N, is ripping Coley that the opposite is true. That dude is on the polar wrong side of every discussion.

Coley is going to have a monster year if he stays healthy. He's easily as talented as Ridley. Now, he's in a contract year with a real OC not the fraud who was throwing halfback passes in a blizzard.

These dopes say coley only played well against crappy teams and ignore the fact that Coley was on a crappy team.

Exactly. Ridley is a great player but he's no better than Coley. They're pretty much the same guy. Ridley was the beneficiary of being the main target in an offense that beat people to death with a bulldozer, sucked Safeties into the box, then went over their head with deep shots to Ridley. He also played 30 games, so 1000 yards is a little less impressive.

Richards is better than Rashad Greene coming out. He's more talented, just like Dorsett was.

Greene was a very good college player and a serviceable pro but he lacks special traits.

One thing I've noticed about Kaaya (his name Bob Marley sang about - I want Kaya now) and TanneyHil,too,l
is I can't remember them ever making that end zone corner timing lob/pass ? Correct me if I'm wrong.

And even then only because Berrios was hurt. Same with Corn returning punts. Realistically our 2 best options with the ball in their hands were only put in position to succeed because of circumstance.
