How good is ND projected to be when we play them?

NFL is full of morons who make bad hires all the time. The Bears want to interview him.

I think we only need one more dl and if I'm being pushy I'd jump for one backer. BUT he's told y'all over and over we're prioritizing youth. Pop will be playing, Hayes will be playing etc etc. I think Hayes in particular will show a lot early. I'd be more concerned with adding another lineman simply because of nagging injuries being the norm on the line and we don't have any established depth.

Prioritizing the youth will backfire on us, imo. Need more playmakers for me to feel comfortable with this front 7. DT’s and LB’s especially. How Wes, Alderman, Moten, etc. are still here is crazy work.

If you mean from a personnel standpoint, that just has to happen. We physically don't have back PLENTY of starters or depth. On dl baron,Barrow & Clark I believe are gone. At lb Kiko and alderman are gone. Secondary they're basically all gone. 🤣 I just hope the thought isn't start all transfers cause then we're in the same position the season after.

I'll just leave it at I disagree. Thought alderman was already gone. If not he will be. Moten I have no issue with. Him and Barrow were our best dt by end of season. Only issue I have with him is I'd like to see him get better against the run instead of of selling out to get after QB every snap.

He has his team 4 quarters away from a national championship in the longest college football season in history. His team’s discipline is evident. Elite defense, one which this board will tell you is all his and has nothing to do with Golden. And he’s done it with a pittance of NIL money, comparatively, and a quarterback who can’t throw a decent forward pass.

Need some big men at DT that can move and eat up space , plus LB’s who can make tackles. The secondary is improved but if the DL isn’t causing havoc then it’s irrelevant.

Damari Starting over OJ/Brantley/O’Connor doesn’t make a lot of sense.

And especially so if you add Lucas, though I’d expect him and Poyser to start at Safety.

Lucas/Damari can battle for Star position

Zaquon would be perfect in a Rover/Striker role or whatever they end up calling it

At some point the young talent has to step up and be relied upon.

DLine/WR/Lb/etc

Defensively ideally we could add another NT type and a LEGIT 3 down Lb (and have Wes, Alderman move on).

DLine I like Moten/Scott/Blay/Jones… probably a bit too much youth though.

Edge with Mesidor returning I don’t think we need Edge much at all.

After a few today, I'd say a may need a good Golden Domer on game day. So if I can get one, that will be cool Irish women from South Bend.
 
They’ll definitely be top 10 regardless of the outcome of the NC. Plenty of motivation for players to step up in our first game next year!

Brother... You mean the same people who last season loved Guidry and this season hated him? You mean the same people who last season said Dawson couldn't call a game at this level when this season he ran the #1 offense in the country? We can go on and on and include players too. I told y'all for years that when alfraud was here we weren't running HIS defense. No d nofritos ran his own defense. Plenty of Dudes here wouldn't know their own asses from a glory hole if they had to rely on their own assessments. Not the best of examples.
