How Do You Support The Miami Hurricanes

During *** , Right before I hit my " OH" face I yell out "OOOOHHHHHH C - A - N - E - S , CANES!!!!'

I've never bought into nor do I recognize one person being more of a fan than the other, a fan is a fan no matter how you show it, but **** some of you guys are making it hard for me to stand by that belief. Much respect and pride having you guys as members of this dysfunctional family.

My dad had season tickets been going to games, literally since I was 6 months old, yes my parents were those idiots we look at and say "Why the **** would you take your infant to a hot *** football game?" God bless their stupidity for I am a much bigger fool for it and wouldn't have it any other way. Continued to have my season tickets, my younger brothers as well, I donate to the University, Hurricane Club member, future fool that will have dumb *** bumper sticker on the care saying "Proud parent of University of Miami student" even though nobody cares as they ride up behind me, and frankly can't stand them either, but will gladly admit to being a hypocrite when my daughter attends there, I did my job of successfully brainwashing my daughter since birth, thereby assuring that the cycle of joy, pain, anguish, frustration and joy again continues on to the next generation. I mindlessly read these boards as I smoke my cigar, I laugh, I cry, I get angry, I get shocked, dumbfounded, ecstatic and the posts here and on the recruiting board.

So to the OP in the land of the Rising Sun, I give to you my answer, arigato, kyoto, samurai, many many oriental massages for you and anything else Japanese I can think of for my fellow Cane family member

I have season tickets, three Canes shirts, three Canes visors, three Canes weather jackets of various types, at least a couple dozen old Canes videos on YouTube including full classic games from our heyday, and if I weren't an atheist I'd pray for a new stadium multiple times every day.

I consistently wear Canes gear as a student here at the University of Alabama (since I couldn't afford Miami's costs and Bama is free lol). My profile pic is actually me at the Bama-LSU Gameday in November this past year. Try being a non-Alabama fan in Tuscaloosa (or anywhere else in the state, really). It's absolute ****. I haven't had the money to go to a game before, other than the NIT when they played Bama in basketball a few years back, but I'm gonna try to see them in Atlanta this year. So I guess I'm not as hardcore as most of you guys, but living as far away as I do and still kinda being a kid it's difficult.. Lol.

Cool! Do any of the Bama fans ever say anything about the Canes to you?

Lol. Oh yeah. All the time. All my friends from home (south Alabama) are Bammers and Barners too so I had to deal with all that growing up. Most of them aren't too bad, but there are a lot that do nothing but bring up all of Alabama's mythical national championships all the time... And of course they always bring up 1992.

When I'm not killing small animals in my mother's basement while listening to 'In The Air Tonight', I follow recruits on twitter and curse them and tell them to tear knee ligaments when they choose other schools.

No mine,,,and I have seen better...there is a guy on Canesports that does a great job with the U in his yard...

Season tix holder and Hurricane Club member. We usually hit a few bball and baseball games too. Much respect to those who are doing their thing to show our Canes the love and give money that's clearly needed to keep up in the arms race.

Son of two UM grads. My dad (School of Architecture) has had season tix since '76 until the 2008 season when the fam moved to Virginia. One of my oldest memories was going to the '88 Orange Bowl as a 3 year old with my old man and other family members.

The family moved back to Coral Gables two years ago and were now season ticket and Hurricane Club members. He also criticizes the **** out of Goldens, b/c he can and doesn't give a **** if it rustles feathers.

Season tix, large purchase of new gear both online, and from the bookstore when Nike releases it, get to 1 or 2 roadies a year, donate to the Hurricane Club

I'm in the nightclub business.

One of the places I work has a regular customer that always wore a UW or BC hat every time he came in. I gave him a U hat for xmas and told him if he ever comes in with a different team's hat on he was 86'd for life.

It's worked so far, he's even received compliments on the U hat!
