How do you feel about the fact that

Reveals a few things.

1st. Seasons are longer now than they used to be.
2. Our poor QB recruiting has forced these guys to play multiple years as starters, something that wasnt as common some years back when we had a deep roster and the young guys didnt start until their JR or Senior years. Jacory was playing as a Frosh, something very few UM QBs have ever done.
3. Tells you that our running game has been garbage for years now. We used to be a strong running team with great backs, now we have to rely more on guys passing. The game is also much more pass happy now than it used to be.

I'd like to add that ole Fancy Pants (Dorsey) was sippin on a coke and eating a hot dog in the vast majority of his games by the 4th quarter, where as Morris and Jacory were in dog fights with Wake Forest and Duke till the bitter end.

Stats. They lie, man. They lie.

Exactly what I came in here to post.

They put up numbers because we haven't recruited a good QB in a decade and if we had they would both have been backups. And certainly wouldn't be 2 and 3 year starters.

Jacory and SteMo are statically the 2nd and 3rd best/Most productive Miami Hurricanes QBs in history?

Kerry Collins threw for more yards than Joe Montana....does that really mean he was more productive than Montana

Morris career was made off of chunk plays. How many times did you witness this cat go surgical on a defense, Dr. James Andrews style?

Obviously Morris isn't a top 2 qb ever for miami. But he sure had his fair share of big plays proudced, incredible/almost impossible throws, and came through in 4th quarter drives- NC, Wake Forest, and NC State last year. From what I remember, the only time Morris failed in a last minute fourth quarter drive was against Virginia in the game they pulled his redshirt. The really high expectations this year and how he actually performed I feel will leave him under aprreciated in the future. Let's not forget he played 2 years with the worst defenses miami has ever had. In the end, he still put up 24 against VT and 30 against Duke. It should of been enough for him to win both of those games and have an 11-1 season.

same could be said for Hankerson and Hurns with their 1,000 yard seasons ... both good players, but certainly not two of the best WR's to ever play the position at Miami.

our best receivers besides moss and wayne never stayed all 4 yrs

Irvin did. Lamar Thomas. I'm sure we have plenty of our top receivers that stayed all four years. Notably, Andre did not.

ummmmm....irvin did not stay all 4 years, sorry. Ill give u thomas though

lol guys talk about Stephen Morris and Jacory Harris like they have never done anything impressive as a QB before..... but i get it, if they were recruited by Golden, you all would give them a pat on the back, amirite?
