there are only so many impact dt and de, i think this is a huge reason for going 3/4...easier to bring in talent...just look at my 49ers...when we got justin smith, all blue collar, but it was the first piece like chick...next willis, like dp, then cb and kept our s developing, aldon smith could be mccord or thomas etc

yeah i gotta believe there is some extra incentive here by auburn. they did a few years ago when they got their ship. they crashed and now they're back at it. these sec guys are just dirty. it sucks but thats the way it is. the only advantage we have is having so many kids in our back yard that helps even the playing field. ****. really wanted that guy. thought he could be a difference maker

This stuff happens every year...he just had a visit with the head coach and his position coach...they have a good talk, meet the family and during it "oh, hey...listen, we want you to just come visit...give us a try, that's all we ask..."

Then when they leave, **** happens and the visit never happens...this is always particularly worrisome when you plan on being the "last visit"...someone always comes outtadawoodwerks for a guy and they steal that "last visit"...

He just had a great f'n season at DT for his school in a state where the JUCO football is elite and he was better than every DT in a state with several high-end SEC JUCO recruits at the same position. I ain't saying he gettin paid...I'm just sayin there is room left in Auburn and Ole Miss' salary cap for this class for just this type of late rising player.
