Here's What Concerns Me the Most About 2013

Having a money Kicker is a huge weapon. In recent memory, the Barth brothers of UNC both ****ed us with huge games. There were two of them right?

But once again, if you don't stop anyone on defense it doesn't matter who your kickers are.

My point is that we have SOME options at all of our defensive positions. We have only 1 kicker on scholarship who has never kicked in a college game and couldnt hit the broad side of a barn during the spring. Kickers can negatively change the momentum of a game with quickness. D-tackles, not so much.

That said, I DO share the concerns about our D, but this thread is about the kicking game.

I posted a video of Josh Bacon who is coming in as a preferred walk on and will be pushing Goudis in camp

Is there some rule that says fans can't worry about the kicker AND the defense? I think there is room for more than one concern.

No, no rule. But the thread title specifically states .most. concerned.

That trends to narrow the field to one area that is, well, most concerning. OP says kicker. I think Chip Kelley could comment on that concern. A valid one. I'm most concerned about the defense, myself.

Again - The coaching staff has been focused on improving the D. Ive seen no efforts aside from a couple supposed walk ons that are designed to improve our kicking game.

SF I understand and agree with your overall point, but as for your last post - kicker/punter are the two spots on the roster that are riddled with walk-ons by design. No roster has 3-4 kickers on scholarship.

No efforts except for bringing in the best local kickers to compete for a scholarship and bringing in the arguably best punter in the nation for his senior year.

If after fall camp we're going into the season and kicker is still our biggest concern, we're suiting up to be a pretty **** good team.

Ive been unaware of this. If that is the case, then I'd like to reswitch my biggest concern to Dorito and the D. :) Seriously tho, I did not know this was going on.
