Henderson

You're either too dense or too stupid to realize that the Ray Ray Armstrong reference/shot I took at the staff had ZERO to do with his off the field issues. WHEN he was on the field...he was being played at the WRONG POSITION. Even if Ray Ray never would have gotten into trouble...they were going to CONTINUE to play him at SAFETY cause that's where the CONSISTENTLY kept lining him up in PRACTICE B-E-F-O-R-E he got suspended.

He'd already played Safety for two years under Shannon.

The likelihood of him learning how to play LB on the fly and making more of an impact there was probably slim, especially considering we needed bodies at Safety.

Yes...about as likely as the fact he was converted to linebacker on the fly IN THE PROS and caught on fast enough to make AN NFL ROSTER

He made the roster because of his measurables and special teams capabilities, not because he could immediately contribute as a position player. He was a developmental signing that has stuck on so far.

Just another example at how bad this staff is at player development and player deployment on gamedays. Anyone with half a brain could see that kid was a potential monster.

You like at a kid like Ray Ray Armstrong as another example. A guy who was miscast here from day 1....never should have been a safety and many of us said that going back to the year we recruited him out of Sanford.

Another great even handed post by the Jedi. Ray Armstrong was another guy who Al forced to be a knucklehead. Al kept getting poor Ray into jams off the field causing him to get suspended and ultimately dismissed.

Certainly, if Al had moved him to LB, he wouldn't have posted pictures of himself hanging out with an agent eating steaks at expensive restaurants.

The next solid post you make will be your first homeboy.

You realize he made that roster as a special teams ace right, Mr. Wizard?

The King of Angry posting telling me to cheer up....when you get a chance and you're bored you should scroll through your own posting history and re-read some of the non sense you've posted over the last year or so.

Are you bomb?

He will be good for his first contract and once he gets PAID he will be like Josh Gordon

If this is the case, I will be happy for Seantrel lasting that long. Honestly thought he would completely wash out with how underwhelming his Canes career was and waste his talent, but when you are forced to fend for yourself in the real world, sometimes people wake up and do the right thing. I'll be rooting for him.

Frustrating he didn't play up to his abilities here. And that is completely his fault, not the coaches. They tried to get him in line with different types of disciplines but nothing got through to him. Looks like one thing did get through to him.... money.

Hope he balls out in the NFL because at the end of the day he's another Cane in the league and thats a great look for our program, no matter how poorly he played here. And he wasn't THAT bad as a Cane, he just wasn't THAT good either. Wish him the best of luck, hung out with him a bunch as undergrads and he's a good hearted kid. If he devotes himself entirely to the Bills he will easily be the steal of the draft. 7th round, are you kidding me?!

Deep breaths, sport. You're way too wound up with yourself.

When asked if he feels rookie seventh-round pick Seantrel Henderson is starting caliber in this league right now the Bills head coach didn’t hesitate.

“No doubt. No doubt. I think (I feel that way) because I’ve been around that position my whole entire life,” said Marrone. “He’s a heck of a football player. A heck of a football player. You have seen it on TV. What’s there not to like? He’s probably one of the biggest guys, he has the most muscle mass. He probably has the quickest feet along with Cordy Glenn.

“He’s a bright kid. He’s smart. His work ethic is outstanding. He’s been everything that people obviously didn’t say about him when he was coming out which is why we were able to get him in the seventh round. I think he understands that and there are periods in time when people can change and one of them is when you go from college into this league. He understands that. We have to do everything we can to not only keep him progressing on the field, but off the field. He is a very talented football player and there’s no telling how good he can be.”

The thought of Glenn and Henderson together as bookend tackles is something Marrone believes could be special for a long time.

“We have an opportunity now that if (Henderson) keeps coming the way he keeps coming to have maybe the best (tackle) tandem in the league.”

Bet the house that this doesn't last.

Work ethic and character don't suddenly come about once you have money in the bank. It's a commitment to a lifestyle. I hope he CAN keep it up, but I doubt he will.

Everybody forgets Henderson was a freshman All American under Stoutland, once Kehoe came in, it was all downhill. If I had to play for Kehoe, I would smoke weed too.

Exactly!!! He shut down the best DE in college as a true freshman... He was never a bad player and didn't underachieve... He battled injuries and then was a victim of the oline musical chairs... I'm sorry but I lost faith in Kehoe 10 years ago...
