Agreed. With the addition of another high caliber coach who can develop (alongside JT), Dline could be very very good. I really like DeBo from Minnesota.

Pickett and Hanks, but we got OJ and Lucas. Pickett and Hanks can be good but from a physical standpoint OJ and Lucas came in college pretty much ready. Which none us saw OJ being that physically ready. If they can start hitting on some top targets this 2026 class that position will be pretty good going forward.

Guilty as charged... seeing our guys briefly go talk to him after the beatdown in Gainesville and then watching our secondary play like basura every week made me want Pickett even more.
Congrats to the kid on the 5th star!
He's going to be a good one.

The best part is that we have older guys in front of them that are solid for the most part. Not 1 of these kids has to be a program saver like in years past.

We still need another portal DT. Scott only elite high school recruit there. You cannot count Blount he’s a SDE all the way right now…. Our DEs definitely need to go to work. Better be All ACC level this year at least.

Yep, I'd even say we might need a portal DE as well. It all depends on how the spring ends up. Someone from that DE group needs to step up. I'm sure we'll have a transfer or 2 because there are just too many bodies at those spots (Blount, McConathy, Lightfoot, Rudolph, Lowe, Pickett) fighting for 2-3 spots (I think Blount has one spot so that means one more rotational spot from 5 guys). Hopefully we have 2 that show out. But, several of those kids need S&C so not sure they'll be ready to contribute in the rotation next season. If we don't have standouts in the spring,. we'll need a portal dude in the rotation to stem the tide.
At DT, we lost 3 rotational DTs (4, if you include Mesidor) and only picked up 1 in the portal. We'll need a depth guy from the portal. Not sure that Moten/Scott are ready to be key rotational/starters. And I'm not sure that Jones is ready yet either.
