I’m watching that interview someone just posted in the thread. Lightfoot got a great mindset considering he was a 5 star with high expectations coming inWish we had up dates on some of them . Him and Blount is who I’m curious to weight now
Rudolph tooWe really need lightfoot/pickett to emerge as our speed rushers off the edge . That’s something we missed on this defense this season. I think Bryant showed promise on the edge as a pass rusher too
I have no idea I guess we will find out when we see him. He was a TF though so the body looked like it had room to grow with the frame he had. PauseHas he put on weight ? We don’t need 250 pound de rushing the qb on obvious passing downs. Hopefully the new dc finds away to use him .
Forgot about himRudolph too
I think 245 should be his goal weight at 6’4 this season. He probably came to Miami last year at 210-215(I’m guessing) and with our strength and conditioning program I’m sure he’s putting on weight. This is not a Cyrus miss part 2, this kid is actually talented as a defensive end and edge rusherI have no idea I guess we will find out when we see him. I think possibly 232ish is realistic. But if he shot up to 245 bruh **** that’s a lot of weight for just a year. I don’t think he’s Cyrus he has much more natural talent. Where as Cyrus I felt was a hype grab on a patch work class to create buzz. Or maybe to create future pipelineI think 245 should be his goal weight at 6’4 this season. Hopefully he is at around 220 now and can get to 235 by the time bullets start flying. That's enough for a a speed rusher.I think possibly 232ish is realistic. Pickett had a rep at the end of that Duke game where he showed off impressive first step and bend to get around the edge for a sack. I wish we got to see more of him, but for that one play he seemed to possess the type of speed rush off the edge we need.We really need lightfoot/pickett to emerge as our speed rushers off the edge . Absolute animal. Penn State really churns those DEs and TEs out.Abdul Carter didn’t look one pound more then 225-230 in that ND game and I don’t care what they listed him at. My eyes didn’t deceive me. And he dominated and is going to be a top 5 pick. So let’s please end the narrative that a DE needs to be 240+ to be dominant.
He did that with basically one arm as well. Dude is a stud. He’s so bendy and slippery, plus his instincts from being a linebacker makes him the top draft prospect on my board.Abdul Carter didn’t look one pound more then 225-230 in that ND game and I don’t care what they listed him at. Great mindset and understanding his role as a freshman. And it sounds he likes being at Miami too and put in work on the scout team going against our oline
He say they are brothers, non issueAnyone shed some light as to what he said about the sideline kerfuffle? Also, does he say how much he weighs these days?.

You need effective coaching. That has always been the solution. Weight only comes up becomes people don't actually watch football.Abdul Carter didn’t look one pound more then 225-230 in that ND game and I don’t care what they listed him at.
