Hartley and Searels in West Virginia

Here’s the kid’s twitter. Notice what offer is pinned!

Sure is. Its not his most recent offer either. I scrolled down to the 5th (when he pinned it) and saw the canesport article he retweeted. I dont subscribe to canesport but the first part of it says something about him getting a Canes shirt for christmas. He wore it to school, his coach took a picture and sent it to our coaches. Offer came shortly after.
SIAP... but any idea if this story is true? Sounds like there is legitimate interest there.

I know the family because I was at Marshall.

Dude amd his family are huge Cane fans. They gave him a Cane shirt for Christmas and he didnt even have an offer. He tweeted it to Hartley and got an offer that day.

He is a WV lineman who comes from a hardworking family. He will be a Cane just wait.

We’re getting a legitimate LT?

Searles and Hartley walking into a home is like a scene out of a Robert Rodriguez movie.

Dust, wind and carnage.

So we have 2 OT and 1 OG committed. We still have OG Neal and OT Tarquin on the board and add this cat. We are going to be stacked in 2019. Gee whiz.

Hope we land this kid..This ol class may be the one that puts over the hump the 2019 group...
Lucas , and this kid alone is an elite group.

But they want the college experience they can’t get at UM.
Winning makes everyone catch the vapors!!! Even kids in West Virginia!
Shame the sofla kids ain’t this passionate. Remember when Dykstra dropped that Iowa commitment like piece of hot coal?

I think Neal ends up a tackle. 6’7 isn’t something you want in a guard...might boot Cunningham. Who knows?

Hartley's a stone cold recruiting killa. When he says Fûck the Diaz brothers and Gaspar Gomez, you know he'll bury those ****roaches.

We ever pull anybody from Wild and Wonderful West Virginia? Did we have any chance with Randy Moss (even with Notre Dame as his then "dream" school)?

how could someone so crazy looking be such a sniper in the recruiting world

Hartley is a badass

Todd Hartley = John Milton

Kid’s the best OT prospect in the country, imo. Would be amazing to get him.

Neal is lumbering in movement and leans a lot. Not sure he’s the tackle folks want him to be.

Honestly Brandon Cunningham will be a tough commit to keep in 2019 anyways.

Dontae Lucas is one guy we absolutely should keep a scholarship available for, as in we could take 5 if he is one of them, otherwise we should get 4.

Plus we are recruiting that 5 star 2019 OG from Louisianna. And Evan Neal is a likely future commit from IMG.

And Our OL depth looks great for this upcoming season. Our OL is going to be filled with beasts. We are absolutely killing it on the offensive side of recruiting.

Absolutely! Not recently though.

Not quite a tradition of OL's, but we've gotten a few. In the '70's, we had Dennis Harrah, an A-A and I think a 1st rd. choice for the L.A. Rams. Started for the Rams for years.

In the early '80's, we had John Canei, whom we thought might be another Harrah. Did not turn out to be the case, but he was a good player for us. In the mid-80's, we took John's brother, Rob, from W. Va, but he never played. In recent years. As we stopped recruiting the coal belt, our staple for many years, I think we concentrated on other areas. Just as we de-emphasized Pennsylvania and northern Ohio,

In the early '60's, we took guys from Weirton and Wheeling.
