Harrison-Hunte Update

Agreed. The facts are sadly what led him to quit. But I do feel much better with Manolo running the program now. So thanks!

No worries man, they just put brand new 22's on the bandwagon, so the load is not gone be to heavy. You're the type who would feel better as long as it wasnt coach richt, thus the scorned woman syndrome continues, so carry-on!

Sorry to disrupt your emotional psychodrama, but I’ve got nothing against Richt - he was just not good as coach of UM. We have had four straight awful corches, and 15+ years of ineptitude as a result. So sorry if I am not overly apologetic for the guys who messed this all up. Posters like you have been blowing the guy in charge every one of thsoe years, then doing an about face, acknowledging their shortcomings but whining about how he was criticized after he was gone. We can differ in our views of richt, golden, shannon and coker as corches. At last we can agree, however, that for now, manny looks like he’s doing the right things.

Like we were all here, we know we sucked this year but Jesus, it's the definition of beating a dead horse at this point.

He did some good things here and some things obviously poorly but he did us a solid when he left so I don't see the point in dragging his name through the mud in every thread where someone says something positive about the man.

It's over. Let's move on.

in the end, were in a better spot than he when he got here. the end was miserable, but at least he knew when he was done and kept to his word about stepping down when he knew he wasn't the man for the job.

Any word on what they will do with the 10 DT’s if they land him? Move someone to DE? Tell Martin to transfer?

Martin, Miller (If he does not develop. I'm not down on him at all, but since they brought in 3 and maybe 4 this cycle he needs to show progress) in Danger perhaps and Bethel and NNoruka leave. So only 6-7.

Miler will be a RS Freshman that everyone knew needed time to develop and wouldn’t play year 1. He is our biggest DL on the roster and could very well develop into a solid rotational guy. He isn’t “in danger”.

Martin will be a RS JR and hasn’t done **** so he may be a candidate to go elsewhere but Miller? Stop it.
We need 7-8 DT’s bare minimum at all times IMO. That is good depth for the position IMO. It’s a big boy spot and injuries are common, that’s why I say you can never have enough DT’s.

Miller has a role on our D absolutely. He's our only NT.

Don't know if it's been posted here but Steve Wiltfong did an update on Hunte. One thing that stuck out to me in the article. Wiltfong stated a source told him "Miami allows Hunte to be himself". His source also said expect Hunte decision to go all the way to the 6th. Also that it would take a lot to get Miami out of the top spot for Hunte.
