Harris commit

watch his film, no way he has 4.4 speed

Dude is sssslllloooowww.

JAG

Speed does not equate "JAG" status. Some of the best receivers we had weren't exactly burners. ****, some of the best WRs ever weren't very fast. Y'all get so hung up on straight line speed. I don't give a **** if this kid can run a 4.4 or a 4.6; does he run good routes, use his body to position himself and catch the ball with his hands? Good body lean, balance and cuts? Is he reliable on 3rd and 4th downs? Does he know how to get open, read coverage and knows how to use his splits? There is more than one way to skin a cat, especially at WR.

dude barely gets separation in HS and gets hawked down on every play he does get loose. hes big and has good hands but I dont see him getting separation in D1 ball

If he's a redshirt sophomore right now, he has 2 years left. It's not hard to figure out.

Your right it is not hard to figure out how many years of on field eligibility Harris has left. Harris spent the 2015 season with Copiah-Lincoln after red-shirting his freshman year at Ole Miss in 2014. So that means he has 3 years left since he only played 1.

3-Star JUCO, Ex-Ole Miss WR Dayall Harris Commits To Miami | College Spun

Welcome to the U, Dayall Harris - State of The U

But thank you for proving again why it is better to have positive than trying to insult someone when you are clearly wrong.

Have a good day, and I hear Kumon is offering a refresher discount for adults, you should look them up.

Go Canes

Harris runs good routes, catches the ball with his hands, high points the ball, has a big frame, can get yards after the catch, and he can block.

Not every player has to be a superstar.

Harris has the potential to be an important piece of our offense. It's important to have a pair of reliable hands that know how to get open. And his size should only make life easier for Kaaya.

I didn't look to see what year he was. I was going off the fact someone said he is a redshirt sophomore. He's not a redshirt sophomore. He's a redshirt freshman and coming here as redshirt sophomore with 3 years. I was going off what was said here. His clock started 2 years ago. He has 3 left, yes.

blackvern why you hating on the kid, bruh? He shows much more separation skills than T. Brady ever showed while at UM. Brady was a 3 -star kid that ran a 4.8 who worked himself to a 4.6. This kid is a 4-star kid who runs a supposedly runs a 4.4. So whats not to like?

No way he runs a 4.4 more like a 4.7 if that.... This year at JUCO he averaged 12 yards a catch, for 20 years old I see no separaration looks like hes running in quicksand. I dont see more separation then Tyre Brady...He maybe has more ball skills... Point blank if he ever gets significant burn here it means we are in trouble at the WR position.. He's the type of guy you see at Virginia not Miami... Theres several guys I would throwa a jump ball to before this guy.. Saying all that Welcome to The U young man and I will root for him

Then good because Canaan Severin is a good receiver for the Hoos. Nobody says this kid has to be the #1 or #2 , but he gives us a college-ready body and he wants to downfield block, something that our receivers haven't been great at the last 5 years as an overall unit. If the kid catches 20 balls for us, then he's a good addition in my opinion.

It doesn't bother me that he doesn't get a ton of separation (he does get some) - what's more important to me is how he uses his body...can be box guys out, can he use leverage to his advantage, can he run routes, does he have good hands, etc. all those things trump great speed imo. We'll find out soon enough if he can play (spring ball).

Thanx for trying to make this positive ... But when we were dominating we didn't have receivers like this.... He's an extremely poor mans CT Jones

Exactly , his top end isn't great but it's not as bad as some are making it. He moves really well for 6'3 205, also has great body control

What did Mike Williams of USC run? he was slow. This kid is not Mike Williams but it looks like he can play and get first downs. I want to know if he can block for bubble screens.
