I know they interviewed CY a couple of times and also interviewed Bucky McMillan, but looks like it's going to be Loucks. Very happy for him but not sure what the folks up in tally-ho are thinking. Gonna be interesting to watch how the start of Lucas and Loucks HCing careers.

FSU is straight up poverty. I knew they were struggling financially, this is one step above taking a successful HS coach. Loucks has NEVER coached at the collegiate level, in any capacity. You can argue that being an NBA assistant is useful experience, seeing how the collegiate game has changed to more of a professional model, but it isn't even like he was a lead assistant or an assistant people were looking at as a future HC. In fact, it was looking like he was going to be scapegoated in Sac Town, to give Mike Brown another year.

I bet you the Bull Gators and everyone associated with UF basketball are laughing their asses off right now. They have their program up and running, Miami and FSU are basically punting on putting competitive programs out there, choosing to go the lottery ticket route.

FSU should be ashamed of themselves. The financial mismanagement, the complete inability to grasp the changing landscape of collegiate athletics, they are a clown show up there.

Jim Phillips has to be sitting in his office watching ACC schools make bad bball hire after bball hire, thinking what are you morons doing? Are you trying to turn the once proud bball conf into a G5 conference?

SEC just knocking their hires out of the park one by one by hiring PROVEN WINNERS. It's not that hard.
