he is an all around back with good speed for his size breaks tackles and if he had the oppurtunity to play a whole game he would tire a defense out and actually allow us to gain the time of possesion by gaining first downs

He doesn't seem to run mean. Didn't impress till Pitt. But he does have a unique set of skills. Yearby and possibly cook or Powell will pass him IMO

Would love to see Gus get 10-15 carries against Louisville in the bowl game to see how he can handle the increased work.

Kid is still a pup. Learning to lower the pads consistently, it would be a **** shame to give up on him this early in his career. He's different than every RB we have on the roster.

They've essentially never run him from the spread. That's a principle question--what they want to do with the offense and how he fits in. If they see him as an I back in an offense that wants to run spread/pistol then it may be hard for him to be more than a spotty player. That's a central question going forward. He looks a bit like tyrone moss early on--good runner for his size but limited play due presumably to his handle on the playbook and degree of trust.

Whether or not he'll take a big leap will depend on him altering his style a bit. That's difficult to do, but not impossible.

I would rather see gus edwards and clements running the ball more rather than crawford. It seems everytime crawford runs the ball he gets alot of negative yards. Gus edwards impressed me in that pitt game. He ran with power, speed and didnt have any negative yards that game. Edwards has a running style that we havent seen at miami in a long time. Eduardo Clements has impressed me all season and I am lost on why he hasnt had more carries this season.

He is bigger, but doesn't seem to be that strong right now, at least not enough to punish tacklers. Should be better next year.
