Gus Edwards Has Clearinghouse Issues

Paperwork/clerical issues could have been resolved w/o Gus missing any practice time. Yet another reason why the policies and rules of the NCAA are dumb, idiotic, and archaic.

Good thing,,,EC is balling hard, Dallas is a steady guy...not the end of the world...if you look at GUS you would think he was a 5th yr SR boy is racked
 
It's obvious the NCAA knows they have nothing concrete, so their punishing us in other ways ...I'm sure they know that by simply hanging over our heads, that's a form of punishment itself...

They'll continue to scour through anything they can find in each and every situation there is.

Aint fair, but until this mess is over...dang it mane

If the NCAA wanted to be pricks they would have picked AQM or Coley..not Gus..IMO...he will be back soon.

So does Gus have to wait to next week to practice???

Edwards will be back on the field sooner rather than later.

Edwards' high school coach, Jim Munson, said Edwards is set to return to the team on Tuesday.

"It was an academic thing with his transcript," Munson said. "He'll be okay. Everything was certified. It's nothing major and it's something that is getting resolved and is going to be resolved. There was an issue, it's being resolved and he'll be back on Tuesday the 20th - that's what I've been told."

Munson said the transcript problem was detected "early on, we worked to resolve it all summer long and we came up with a resolution."

He says the NCAA is being helpful in getting Edwards cleared before the first day of classes.

"They didn't drag their feet," Munson said.

Feel much better now that bomb has gotten to the bottom of this.

I'll say this much; UM/Edwards better check back up with those clowns and not just assume that the NCAA will notify them when everything gets cleared up.
