GT vs. UNC

Does either team play FSU/Clemson? Just trying to figure out who to cheer for/against.

Still don't look too good. That speaks just as much to UNC's ability as well. Our defensive play from the front 7 in the U*** game has me more than confident that we can shut down the option and have another blowout against GT like a couple years ago. UNC is definitely susceptible to the outside run game.

no doubt. im just speaking to the fact that it doesnt matter how any of them look conference games are always tricky

Yea especially in a conference that is top heavy like the ACC. A lot of these games are "crap"shoots.
 
Both these teams are decent and probably will be 8 win teams. Fedora is a good coach so I expect them to have a better second half of the season.

FYI to the board, don't put to much into this game because it is really wet. It is also a one score game and not over.

GT should take care of VT next week. Meaning the Loser of the UNC/VT game is likely out of contention. The GT game in two weeks is going to be huge in the coastal race. However, Just win them all and don't worry about it!

I got beat up for calling us "disciplined" against UiF but what I meant was our discipline as far as gaps and assignments, not necessarily penalties. If we play that type of discipline against GT we will beat the every loving **** out of them.

Just go back and watch Chick last year DO WORK against them, and now picture him a year later and a whole new player.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not dumb enough to guarantee victory or be over confident, just sayin
 
Our D will be ready for GT. They have a team that might be as good as they were last year and they gave us all we could handle and them some. Not a game to overlook at all. They all seem that they have a very good chance of coming into game week with us undefeated. Very interesting game.

Not worried about d, although tech will get their points. Question for me is can are offense put up 28-35 PTs against them?
 
I really enjoy watching the GT offence.....once, or at most twice a season.

College football, for me, is all about the variety.

I couldn't watch GT every week and I would hate it if the Canes adopted that offence - but as we never would I can sit back and enjoy it in small doses.
 
GaTech's offensive is designed to win games, not championships. Paul Johnson isn't a very good recruiter. He should have stayed in I-AA where he could win.
