Gotta say I am so ******* sick of Georgia Tech and their **** offense. **** them and **** Paul Johnson. You're supposed to be a D1 program located in Georgia, **** you with your cut blocking 1927 ****** offense.

God **** I hate seeing these ****ers try and play football.

Yea cut blocking is ****** wack. Always hated playing against teams that did it. GT isn't looking too good right now either. We look more physical than both of these teams so far and that's a good start. We will need to keep an eye on UNC TE Ebrom for sure.

GT is going to get smoked. The ACC is getting better but GT is not. Teams know how to defend those fools.

Is it just me or does it appear to others that GT's defense can't seem to protect the perimeter? Lots of room to run on the outside. If they play us like that, Duke's going to have a **** of a game rushing.

End of Q1. Tech getting rolled on so far. I agree with Unique as far as their TE. That was a pretty **** good catch.

It's such a boring offense to watch. I hate it too.

In a world where there are offenses like Oregon's that run 180 plays a game, you have to be embarrassed if you're a GT fan running that slow poke bull****.

Clean it up, GTech.

That 1927 offense had our number for quite a few years.

Johnson is 1-4 against Miami, and 3 of the losses were by 17 or more.

Everyone talks about their offense, but Johnson has done a terrible job recruiting defensive players. When he got their they had guys like Michael Johnson, Derrick Morgan, and Morgan Burnett. Since Gailey's kids left it's been a bunch of Sun Belt-level players on that side of the ball. Doesn't help that he's on his 3rd defensive coordinator in 6 seasons.

pretty sure that GT has led the country 2 of the last 4 years in plays over 20 yards. More than oregon, more than everybody. What's embarrassing about that?

Personally I like that there are teams that run this offense. How much fun would college football be if every team ran the same offense? Different styles make it fun and interesting.

Also doesn't help they have a current ****** d-coord in Ted Roof... The folks at Auburn were ready to kidnap him and bury him somewhere.

Exactly. Every time I see a Georgia Tech thread it's guaranteed to include a bunch of simpleton comments about their offense. They could lose 45-42, or 42-36 in overtime to us like last year, and the fixation would be on the offense. Many fans want a pat on the back and think it's guaranteed it they rip Georgia Tech's offense.

Meanwhile, last year they gave up 50 points to North Carolina and still won comfortably. The defenders have been awful since the departure of the players you mentioned. They have tried attacking style defenses and more cerebral approaches and nothing has worked due to the limitations of the personnel on that side of the ball.

I really enjoy watching them play, largely due to the vast differences you see from the opponent in trying to defense them, and how it evolves during the course of the game. The option teams are always fascinating in that regard.

The shame is that nobody in this era runs the true wishbone. Lou Holtz calls this a wishbone on ESPN but it's anything but a true wishbone. Three backs allowed so many gorgeous permutations. I've got YouTube videos on my channel of Oklahoma from the early '80s, hardly one of their best teams, but the variety of plays is terrific.
