DE McCord- AQM - Hoilett - Jackson
DT Kamalu - Huertelou - Hamilton - Jenkins
DT Pierre - Moore - Moten - King - Grimble
DE Chickillo - Thomas - Harris - Perry
Sorry man, but in a 4-3. Chick isn't playing no DE in front of McCord/AQM
DE AQM - Harris - Hoilett - Jackson
DT Chickillo - Huertelou - Hamilton - Jenkins
DT Pierre - Kamalu -Moore - Moten - King
DE McCord - Thomas - Harris - Perry
I agree with Ridle, either one of those would get washed out in the run game on the edges. I think our personnel at this point scream 3-4, but a 1-gap 3-4. It would look something like this:
DE Chickillo, Hamilton, Muhammed, Jackson
DT Pierre, Huertelou, Moore, King, Jenkins
DE Kamalu, Perry, Moten, Thomas
OLB Figueroa, Armbrister, Smith
ILB Perryman, Grace, Young
ILB Kirby, Blue, Mccray, Owens
OLB Mccord, Hoilett, Harris,
The reason I say 1-gap is more about size than anything else. The only 2-gap bodies I see are Huertelou @Dt , Pierre@Dt(if he adds another 20lbs but could stay the same if he plays De) Kamalu@De, maybe Hamilton@De. We just don't have quality depth to 2-gap. That's why getting Whyche and Valentine were so important, for quality depth more than anything else (starting all-stars maybe later).
