It does seem like Morris has been throwing quite a few INT's based on the Camp Report videos.
 
The expectations are outrageous to be honest. He's got plenty left to prove.

A few things

1. Surely he can't be MOTIVATING the QB who is getting accolades from the Media and Fake Scouts.

2. New OC, I am sure there is a few extra slip ups in there.

3. There is always room for improvement.

So people calm down because you saw an interception in a video.

I am not talking about interceptions, he is still not being accurate......BIG DIFFERENCE

There's reason to be concerned (and excited) until we see him against a great secondary like Florida's.
 
Consistency was an obvious issue with Morris last year. There were several games where he went through long stretches without being able to hit wide open recievers. I'm sure that is something he has worked on all off season.
 
If u just came on this site and did not watch games u would think SM is Tom Brady, luckily a few of us aint too much of a homer to think if u have accuracy u have it and thats it. If u dont u dont but u still can win with a **** load of a running game (inside the tackles).

What I see from practice when the pads r on SM looks like SM from last year which is better than awhole lot of College QBs, but cmon dude is like Mallet....he just got a cannon and has no acc and no touch. I dont care how many academy or 7 on 7 mvps u can get....Saturdays r what matter and results on Saturdays. Teams like U*** FSuck will take the deep ball away u can bet on it, and thats when he struggles. Duke and the OL have to be maulers, and if any of DJ or SM get injured (God forbid,knock on wood) we done especially if DJ goes down we have no RB depth when it comes to Miami standards.

I think that Stephen Morris may have just been thinking that he can get away with taking chances in practice and the defense is starting to make him pay for it.

I'm not worried about him regressing as a QB or anything like his accuracy being in question.... he just needs to stop taking chances and just make the smart play.

Jedd Fisch was a very good QB coach. Don't know how good Coley is, but expectations for SM should be tempered until after the UF game. We should have an idea of what kind of QB he will be after that game.

You didn't see the accuracy or touch in the spring game? CBs in the hip pockets of WRs had no chance because of ball placement. He doesn't get picked off because he throws the ball too hard or has bad placement. He gets picked off because of bad decisions or pressure. Just like any other QB. All these BS definitive statements about what has to happen this season before a game is played.
