- Obviously said they didn't finish to end the game whether it was going 3 n out on Offense or allowing them to convert on two 4th downs
- Said he is not proud that they are throwing 52 passes and we are only getting 1 sack, said they are playing more cover 1 especially in the 2 minute drive and if you can't get a pass rush while playing man a big play is eventually inevitable
- Said no one in the country can tell him Tyriq McCord won't be a better pass rusher next year when he is 245 pounds rather than 218 lbs this year
- Says a lot of young guys are playing to early but they are fighting and competing and they just needed to make a play (see this as Al wanted to red shirt a lot of the 2012 class in an ideal world)
- Said they don't worry about every little thing the players do wrong but if it is repetitive and chronic then you have to do something about it
- said if we turn on it now it will turn into a cycle, Said their is no way he wanted to suspend those players but if those guys continue to put themselves ahead of the team they have to learn
- Al Golden said he has never in his life been heading home on the bus and looked down at the stat sheet and had to take a double check when he saw Duke Johnson's 368 all purpose yards
- Little stat I saw Duke Johnson ranks 2nd in the Nation in Kickoff Return yards with 779 only to Temple's Matt Brown who has 790
- and duke johsnon now ranks 9th in the nation in total all purpose yards with 1688
- happy with offensive execution but we are not good enough as a team to miss one or two opportunities down the stretch to score
- Kickoff coverage was lacking and although they stopped the run gave up way to many big plays
- Al when asked about how difficult it has been with the NCAA said " Joe I can't wait for one year where I can go out and just coach the team"
- Is very excited when he looks at his roster and see's where we are going and what we can be
- Deon is doubtful but Denzel looks ready to go for USF and Al is excited to see him go
- Really praised Rayshawn Jenkins for his 8 tackles and play said he knows it wasn't all prefect but he likes what he is seeing
- Not sure of the status about the players suspended

The offense needs to finish off the other team when the defense sucks and is short handed. They could have. They didn't.

Starting off with the offense discussion, then to defense lead the show to flow right into the players that were unavailable. Makes sense.

we have a mediocre qb who isnt very accurate. i dont trust him one bit especially when duke is averaging 10 a pop. if we wouldve thrown it 3 times or even twice everyone would complain that we didnt run the ball to kill the clock and gave UVA some timeouts. we had been running well all game and UVA made the play to stop it. we couldve made the plays on the 85 yard drive but we didnt. we had em on a fourth down and a couple third downs as well just didnt come up w a stop. i agree maybe a screen would be nicely but weve seen morris throw screen passes 10 ft over the receivers head or into the dirt so i dont have faith in a clean screen. and our Offense has been terrible the last couple weeks and the D has kept us in those games and won us the vt game.

I would think Golden would give his coaches the same time frame, unless they are not gelling as a staff or something else is clearly amiss. Not sure that the defense's ranking falls into that category at this time given.

This question I have with the defense is what is happening during the week that is not translating to Saturday for some of the players.

That's irrelevant, I'm speaking from a Miami fans perspective, UVA, UNC and USF are crap to mediocre to most fans. It's been years now since Miami has beaten the teams they should beat and yes, I consider a 3-6 team one Miami should beat

That is my point, there are no longer any of those teams on our schedule, outside of BCC. At this point there are no teams that Miami should beat. Almost all the teams on our schedule have had an equal amount of success if not more in the last 5 years. As a program, we are not at the point where we can say we should beat Duke or Wake or USF or UVA. Right now they are our equals.

LOL at this. Sums up our fanbase perfectly. UVA, UNC, and USF are all crap, but we're Miami dammit. We can't be as crappy as them!
