What's not reasonable is giving him a pass for the performance of this defense.

Even with everything he inherited and the "cloud" that overlooked the program, the defense should not be this bad.

Relative to the talent level, the defense underperforms.

it's amazing how people can be so short sighted. There's nothing that's happened thus far to make us think this staff can't get it done.. It's not like we've had a very good team and have under performed. Based on what golden and his staff have done in the past, there's plenty of reason for optimism. Also, seeing how recruiting has been going, when we had the NCAA stuff against us, there's PLENTY of reason for optimism, this year's class will be the first time golden can recruit kids without have to worry about what the NCAA is going to do to us.

How was Williams one of the best players on the field? He wasn't even his teams leading rusher nor did he get the most carries. Some guy named finch led bc in rushing.

As it stands right now, Miami's nfl players from this game dwarf bc. Matter of fact, Miami had more wr's make nfl teams than the entire bc team. Mind you this was a handicapped bc team who was decimated by injuries but it didn't matter.

Again, please point out a time in these coaches career that they have been anything but mediocre. I have yet to see anyone post a signature win in Golden's career. He's lauded for what? Bringing back Temple? Get the **** outta here, that program was such a dumpster fire all he had to do was coach the kids to not **** in their own shoes and he would look successful. He never won the MAC despite having the "highest rated" recruiting classes and biggest budget in that conference. His win % against winning teams is abysmal, even his % against mediocre teams is ******* ridiculous. If you guys want to keep your rosy outlook go right ahead, but don't tear down another poster because they have realistic expectations.
