You know what the saddest thing is? Not what Sony said but the fact that with all the local commits who were bragging about how great the staff is and how bright the future is everybody is focusing on the non Miami commit. Like when with you guys get it if we are the U then who gives a **** about what commits at other schools say about us? We don't need Sony because Yearby and Powell will have a better career as a whole. Lane doesnt matter because Langham, Dixon and Berrios will turn heads. Lammons doesnt matter because Bethel will show he was the right cb for us. Clark doesnt matter because we have a future ring of honor dt in Valentine. Why can't we focus on our commits instead of *****ing about guys who don't want to be apart of the U family? **** is depressing

Quasar called himself a UM fan at one point so I agree with him that at least one UM fan is a piece of crap loser. As for the facilities, if that's what he's focusing on then fugg him.

Here's how I see UM's facilities in relation to some of these schools located out in the sticks. I analogize our facilities to high priced real estate. Our facilities are like a brand new 3000 square foot high end condo in New York city. The value, even though the facilities are relatively small, is much greater than some giant complex in the middle of nowhere.

The facilities at these redneck schools in the middle of nowhere are like a 20,000 square foot mansion built on a landfill in the sticks. The much smaller NYC condo is infinitely more valuable on the real estate market. Same with UM.

Great comparison, something I have constantly brought up before so let me ask a question based on the above.

What would it take you to move to Gainsville, Trailerhasse, Bama or essentially anywhere in the SEC?

I'd never move to any of those redneck wastelands. I can't imagine a black kid wanting to go dance for all those confederate flag waving racist pigs. Odd to see young black dudes freely choosing to go play for a bunch of rednecks who show up to games in their pickup trucks with their rebel flags flying.

This needs to be said to these recruits because they dont realize these people that cheer for them hate em at the same time.

THAT is indeed puzzling. He suddenly decides to go to Georgia because it wins The Attendance Cup or The Facilities Cup ? For all of its boosters,facilities, and its so called die-hard fans .....how many NC's have they raised in the last 30 years ?
For those of you too young to remember ....in Detroit there was this little boxing-gym located at 5555 McGraw Street . No air-conditioning, 1950's style equipment,no fancy lighting, the training rings looked ratty and the place was almost window-less. It was in a basement ! Name ? Kronk Gym. Guess which boxing- gym produced the most champions ?

Facilities DO NOT WIN YOU CHAMPIONSHIPS ! The right coach wins you championships ! If you're lucky (see Auburn University) , you catch lightning in a bottle with a so-so coach, a couple of off-the-charts players and some lucky breaks.
Oregon's national Championships are on par with VT's or Texas A&M or Ole MISS' .

Chad Thomas' quote was the best of all ...at Miami you do not have to sit in a class with 99 other students. If you've ever had to sit in an auditorium type class ..then I don't have to elaborate.

As someone who covers boxing, I just wanted to crown this post. The late, great Emanuel Steward(God, rest his soul) would be proud. Kronk was an assembly line of champions...
