Go to Wake game

Certainly can’t blame the weather, Low 70’s sunny and a 4% chance of rain. If your doing the 4/5 hour tailgating you’ll have temps in the 60’s.

This will be senior day. Potentially the final home game for Restrepo, Ward and others. We’re coming off a loss and need the crowd behind us. This team has a chance at the playoff and maybe more. Tickets are cheap. Get your asses to the game.

My flight leaves ATL at 5:30 am.

Pops flying in for Thanksgiving. I got two tickets to the game. See you guys there!

Last regular season home game for a year. Get off your asses. Stop being lazy. Go enjoy this team and support!

Will be there in "Premium Seats" lol. But seriously can't miss this last home game.

I work Saturday mornings now so noon games are no longer something I can participate in. As it is, I have to set my DVR to record the game because I won’t get home until halfway through the first quarter.

For people saying that noon games are tough...can you expand why?

I get it if you work and can't take the day off, or if your kids have a ball game, etc. But I honestly feel like there's people who can easily make it to the game, but will just sit at home instead because the game is at "12pm". I can even understand a September game against an FCS opponent and its 95 degrees out. But this is literally our last home game, against a conference opponent, last chance to see Restrepo, Ward, weather in the 70s, etc. I don't get it.

Btw, my family and I are spending Thanksgiving in Miami and are purposely driving down almost a week earlier (this Friday) from Jax so we could go to the game.

I do not think it is physical impossibility.

It is more about the effort to tailgate for a noon game. Assuming you arrive at 7 am, you are making a lot of effort for (a) not very much grilling, and (b) not very much drinking.

Not a fan of noon games. Sorry.

One man's opinion but it all revolves around tailgating. For most fans, if you can't enjoy the tailgate then it's not worth attending the game. Personally, I don't enjoy tailgating so it has no bearing on whether or not I'll attend. What keeps me home some Saturdays is FOMO of missing all the games on TV.

Case in point: the post above mine's

Nothing in Miami starts before 2pm on a weekend. Friday night always runs late and even people in their 30’s and 40’s are still at the bar/club late.

Sure but you can still wake up by 10:00am and make it to the stadium by 12. It's All About The T(ailgating).

I lived in Miami until I was 26, I know how things operate down there. Not trying to be a jerk, but most people I know in their 30s/40s in south florida are not out bar hopping / clubbing until the wee hours of the morning on a consistent basis. I could understand a random Friday night, but if you care about supporting our Canes (which I'm assuming all of us on this site do), most people will plan accordingly knowing there's a noon game the next day. We only have 6-7 of those the entire year...not a lot to ask for lol.

I hear you.....I guess I'm referring more to this upcoming game where several people are throwing out the idea of not going just because it's a "noon" game. To me, the fact that it's senior day, last chance to support a kid like Restrepo, see Cam Ward live one last time, etc is MUCH more important than being able to drink for 5 hours on a Saturday morning. Heck, if tailgating is that important to some folks, you don't have to get there exactly at 7am. You can arrive at the parking lot at 9am and still get a solid 2.5 hours of drinking and shooting the sht with your friends.

To each their own I guess. I'm a HUGE college football junkie and want to watch as many games as possible. But being in person to support the Canes (especially for this last home game considering everything at stake) completely trumps the desire to watch Ohio State vs Indiana on TV.
