Gif Request - Golden & Lewis

That was a very powerful, emotional, and touching moment. Loved seeing how much Golden cares about his players. Hope all the recruits we are targeting saw that and if I was them I would go to war with his coach.

Forget the recruits.....just show that to their MOTHERS.

Golden is on a whole nother level with showing how he cares. We have all seen where coaches come out on the field with a bad injury, but that was the first time I've seen a coach get on the ground and hug a guy for support.

Yep very emotional. Still feeling it today looking at those pics. Don't slam the WVU coach. I remember watching that happen. Im sure the WVU fans feel the same way about their coach as we do Golden. That kid was hurt

That photo is powerful, but the moment I'll remember from that is before he hugged him. Al ran over and dove in and immediate shielded him and was talking him through it. It was before the hug and before they reset his ankle. First thing I noticed was how immediate Al got on him.

Golden and Duke. Man......

And then in the 2nd qtr our fanbase was giving AL the middlefinger along w/ our coaching staff. that brought a tear to my eye...

Nick Saban makes millions and millions and millions of dollars, and wins lots of games.

But we have the superior COACH.

Incredibly powerful. It's hard not to get a bit emotional seeing that, hard not to love Golden for doing that, and hard not to think that Duke is a motherfckin boss. He's just a freshman, but he's got leadership qualities that can't be taught. Absolute superstar.

Deadspin actually did an article and the comments are surprisingly all good ones (at least as of this posting). For those of you not familiar with Deadspin commenters, they are notorious for being juvenile and/or mean spirited. With that in mind and the fact that we are Miami, I figured the comments would all talk about 'thugs', 'cheaters', etc but surprisingly they are all positive. Good to know there is still some decency on the internet.

Getting choked up reading it again and reading those comments.

I did get a good laugh at the Notre Dame fan saying Kelly would have told him to walk it off though.

Some people freeze up when faced with these situations, but Golden isn't one of those people. He was on a dead sprint and #2 man to Lewis. Very impressive and like others have said, I am still getting choked up watching it again. Very powerful and shows that Golden is a man of action and just not giving lip service when he recruits these kids.
