Gif Request - Golden & Lewis

Most impressive act of concern by a coach. And it wasn't just a one-way deal with Golden expressing concern - you'll note that Malcolm was grateful for his being there, and comforted while some unpleasant business in resetting that ankle was being done.

Malcolm is one tough customer, determined, and dedicated. I look forward to him playing at the U and showing us how special he is for years to come.

Still getting emotional seeing that picture hours later.

This.

Goldens actions in those minutes during and after is exactly why people have so much faith in him. Not another coach in the world I would have wanted out there more today.

Love coach Golden to death I will always support this coach no matter what. That's what you call a real man we use have to keep praying for
Malcom everyday to get better soon.

I ain't gonna lie, I think I have something in my eye looking at that....when it happened I was wondering if that was a trainer....then I was like, ohh that's Coach. Great human being.

That showed everybody watching how much he cares. If you doubt this mans commitment, doubt your own.

On a side note, I think the team went into a "funk" after that injury.........It must have been tough to see that.

I couldn't actually see it. I was watching on a small European stream. Must have been bad. We had a similar situation with an injury to our QB, Kary Baker, I think in the early 70's. Bad ankle injury, Fran Curci cradled his head, as I remember reading back then. Didn't see that game.

Wow, I did not get to watch this game either. Thank you for posting that, my respect for this man knows no limits anymore.

Golden showed what he's all about. As time goes on, I think there will be further evidence of that.

Any word on Malcolm?

Just a dislocation. Didnt break the skin/no compound injury.

He should be alright. I saw a high school baseball player hit 1st base wrong and dislocate his ankle where it was pointing straight down. Next year he was a top 10 pick.

As long as there is no nerve or ligament damage, he should be fine for the future

DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE WHEN GOLDEN RETURNED TO THE SIDELINE AND THE PLAYERS TOOK A KNEE, HE TOLD SOME DUDE WITH A VIDEO CAMERA WHO WAS TRYING TO RECORD HIM TO GET THE **** OUTTA HERE WITH THAT ****....SOLID AG MOMENT

YES! I’m pretty sure it was the Raising Cane videographer and he gave her the GTFOH finger. Golden just gets it.

Even if we wouldn’t have pulled off the victory, I still would have been a bigger fan of Golden ‘cause of the way he handled the injury
