Yeah put my in grpup that thinks we need to bring in 3-4 portal DL.

We dont have enough size and experience to roll into a tough schedule next season with so much youth.

Like i like talent level, and starting 4, but imagine if
You get 2-3 injuries that is a slim unit. Absolutely need 3-4 veteran types up front.

Id take 2 DE and 2 DT personally.

Care To elaborate? Considering we have 3 wr committed and 5 or 6 db committed! if you mean portal then it's good there is no traction cuz that would be tampering

Yeah count me in the crowd that says bringing in 2 starter caliber DTs isn’t a good look. We need to develop the guys we have. Maybe bring in one. But 2? Meh. The DT room needs to step up. There are two 5* kids in that room. Making a pretty penny in NIL I will presume.

We need help in other positions first. MAJOR help.

Agreed. We need a step in safety to start next to Patterson next season as I think Stubbs won’t be ready. And for whatever reason the staff doesn’t like ball hawking Markeith Williams who I bet jumps in the portal next season

If Mesidor does come back, then my outlook wouldnt be as many portal DL.

I believe Mario is going to dominate recruiting in 2026.

Agreed. 2025 was always going to be a harder pull. Kids see, but most kids are committing before the season and they got to see this run. Now it’s trying to flip and just a much harder task. I’d expect to be firmly in the top 5 before that start of next season.

Mesidor has a year of eligibility left. He didn't plan on coming back, but he hasn't had the season he expected. He definitely isn't coming back to play DT. He will leave before that happens.

This is his third year here. Came in Mario’s first portal class.

100%. It’s the proof of concept, Mario is proving this year that you can transfer to Miami and not only win on the field but help your draft stock. Most importantly we should be at the point where we no longer are required to pay a ‘suck tax’.

Last point is underrated.
