Interesting that he was "still working" on the DB portion...or maybe he was told to not release some information....

Please god for once let my hope trafficking be right
Ben Ahmed committed this morning.

There is a follow on tweet that answers both of these questions. Didn't have time to post

Team Notes:

  • Freshman wide receiver Joshisa Trader was nursing a minor injury during fall camp, which caused him to miss some time on the field. That injury carried over into the start of the season but he is healthy now, and his snaps have increased week by week. Trader is one of the younger players on the roster who should be able to carve out a role in the latter half of the regular season. He was expected to contribute to the offense before his setback.
  • Transfer redshirt senior defensive tackle Marley Cook missed a good portion of fall camp and has been gradually eased into the rotation since his return. He is another player who can carve out an important role in the second half of the regular season. As Mario Cristobal mentioned on The Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM on Monday morning, there is a need to create more quality depth as they progress further into the schedule.
  • From my understanding of the situation, Cristobal and the trainers have taken the same approach to redshirt junior left tackle Jalen Rivers' injury as they did with sophomore defensive end Rueben Bain Jr. They have not wanted to rush Rivers back into the lineup and risk re-aggravating the injury, and he should be ready to go for the Louisville game on October 19.
  • On sophomore cornerback Damari Brown and redshirt sophomore left guard Ryan Rodriguez, both are likely to remain sidelined for some time. I was informed that their return might not come until late in the season or even the postseason.
