Plus:

+We won: Best start since 2004.
+Defense after the 1st Quarter: Shut **** down. Gave up just 6 points after the 1st quarter until that late TD against the backups
+Tyriq McCord's hit: Holy ****. He looked like he was mad about not getting to play all game and took it out on the QB.
+Gunter's pick 6 on the next play: Awesome stuff.

Minus:

-The announcers: These guys were the absolute worst. They gave my ears AIDS.
-Too many turnovers: Morris with 2 picks, Duke fumbling again, Dorsett muffing a punt. Jesus.
-Defense in 1st quarter: Second week in a row where they looked lost to open the game. They tightened it up though.

Thoughts?

+Chickillo was relentless.

-DC leaching Duke's TDs, only half joking. DC's emergence has been crucial to our O.

Take away the first quarter (I know, I know, you can't) and the last drives, and the defense played a great game. Defense gave up around 400 yards, but 200 came in the first quarter and another 80 on the last 2 drives.

Anyway, I think the defense will be fine against "normal" offenses.

We need to get this ******* turnover thing under control, because if we do, our offense is unstoppable. We don't turn it over, we score 70 today.

im excited to see more of 17 and 98 in there. they are developing into one bad *** pass rush combo. they were on another level when they came in

Sorry, but our offense is not unstoppable. That's an overstatement of epic proportions.
 
Can't say enough about how big of a weapon Dallas Crawford has turned into for us. He's a great second option to Duke
 
As bad as the announcers were they are nowhere near as bad as half of you pussies on the game day blog.
Seriously, most of you guys should just not post during the games.

Morris 17-22 324 yards 3 td's 2 bad passes.
Duke 184 yards 325 total yards.
Defense from 2nd quarter on stifled GT.

All that and if you looked on our game day blog you would think we lost by 21.

Just pathetic.

Epic proportions? No. We don't turn it over today we probably go over 60 points and 600 yards against a defense ranked in the top 10 in the nation I know GT isn't that good, I'll give you unstoppable was a little exaggeration, but Morris is not close to 100%, and we turned it over a bunch and still put up eye popping numbers.

not all, but some of the first quarter is they had extra time to work on wrinkles we had not seen. There were some freelancing as mark mentioned after the game.

They should get Corey Chavos off the D films and put him in these games, guy talked more knowledge then these cats the whole game.

5-0 and we coming.

My biggest + goes to the OL. They created holes all game. Struggled a little when GT blitzed but they went in with no lube against GT's defense on that last drive where Duke ran it down their throats and then Crawford dropped the hammer for the TD.
 
I had to work, so I decided to read the gameday thread. **** was so bad I just had to go find out the score! I agree with anyone calling out the soft shouldered mother fuggers around here.....

? Every game day blog is ridiculous, for any team and on pretty much every site. If one isn't a fan of em, then don't bother, but **** changes from play to play so much that guys tend to focus on areas of improvement a ton, making things look worse than they are. That gameday blog was no different from any other.
