Georgia loses another commitment

Those kids were committed for over a year. Both were told various things about development, playing position etc. UGA board believes it was all done in a "compassionate" way and these kids still have time to find "better fitting" situations. They were definitely "processed". They are going after 5* guys for every position - committed guys and uncommitted. It looks like Bama and UGA are going to be battling for 4-5 of the same guys down to the wire. Just imagine what the stakes will be for those kids....

Don't buy it at all. Like I said, the time to 'push out' kids is before you send them official scholarship offers. That happened 2 months ago.

If they did receive the official offers 2 months ago and are still being 'pushed out' than that is very poor recruiting tactics.

How many 5* players do they think they are going to get? 15? Nonsense.

running out of money, one of the boosters is like **** i have to pay this freshmens rent again. How am I going to sign the 2019 class damnit, then proceeds to shout racist remarks then when he sees the players he gives them hugs while hes digging his knife through there back.

So what can we conclude.. he pushed two/ three kids out and some studs didn't like it and left ?

Who knows if they got official letters? It sounds like they didn't and based on comments on their board, this has been in the works for weeks. There was a comment made that these kids were allowed to go public at their time.

FWIW, it has been said multiple times on the Bama board by posters and mods alike that Rashad Cheney will not be in the class. Supposedly staff hasn't been in contact for weeks and the kid hasn't been on campus since April. They are letting him find another situation before making anything public. That's Haselwood's friend - who also decommitted from UGA last spring. He visited Penn State a couple weeks ago so maybe that narrative is right.

So it's ok to "push out" kids from local schools in Georgia with no repercussions but if we do it.....

How do you know it doesn’t have repercussions? In the 2018 class UGA signed 11 of the top 40 players in the state and 9 of the top 25. This year they only have 5 of the top 40 (all 5 of them are in the top 25).

They just “processed” two Georgia kids in the top 30. The best player in the state just decommitted. There are 3 players from Grayson high school in the top 10 and they all snubbed UGA.

Now, here comes a situation where Chris Hinton (#5 in the state) signs with Michigan and he has little brother who is top 5 in the state in 2020. These things add up. Who knows if we’d still be in the running for Stevenson without frierson, bandy and DJ

The test for UGA’s in state 2020 recruiting will be Marietta high school. They have 4 players in the top 15 including potential 5* qb Harrison Bailey. One of those 4 is already committed to OSU. Marietta also has a safety with Alabama and Clemson offers. Ramen Kenton (Marietta, 2019) is committed to Tennessee.

Let’s see if these how many of these players UGA gets.

They’re already failing. Harrison Bailey will probably be a Michigan Wolverine that way it looks.

Cheney is SOLID! I hope we at least tried to get in the door with him.

Cant fault any team for wanting better players, u push out who u have to for it

This right here.If we aren’t doing the same thing and “ settling” for lesser players just so we don’t hurt feelings we will never compete with the Saban’s of the world.Recruiting is ruthless and feelings get hurt.In the end it’s all about getting as many of the best players every year as the 25/85 will allow you.

All I say is make sure to give the kid you’re pushing out time to find a new school.Dont hang them till the 11th hour and then ***** them.

As long as Barry Alvarez is alive and the AD at Wisconsin. Chryst ain't going anywhere
I would agree with you, but Wisconsin state laws make it extremely difficult for the Badgers to compete financially for coaches. If an NFL team zeroed in on him, it would be hard to walk a way from an offer Wisconsin couldn’t come close to matching.

Chryst will stay at Wisconsin as long as he wants. He is from Madison and there is no pressure to win. Fans are OK with winning the Big 10 West every year. Everything else is gravy.

I heard that Saban gave Kirby a going away gift. A massive chest full of gold coins from a mysterious Confederate States Ship. Kirby has been using it in the bags. Turns out that the coins were merely gold foil wrapped around chocolate coins. Kids found ants eating their coins and are dropping like flies.
