Georgia loses another commitment

Listen, that only happened because we weren't winning. If Richt pushed out a SFL recruit right now I bet no one says shet. When your losing people like to say or do all type of shet they wouldn't say or do if you were winning.

When your losing people are like "bro, why is this trash *** team pushing out this or that kid? they need him!"
But when your winning people suddenly understand because the winning validates the moves you make.

I disagree.....high school coaches take this personally and were not talking about a couple 3 star guys either. We're talking about 4 star guys who are ranked pretty highly. You start "processing" out local kids like this for OOS recruits you'll start to see a revolt against Kirby. Winning only helps so much...

yes. this^^^^ They don't even hide it. Supposedly there are a bunch of angry HS coaches right now ----- this kid's coach was out a few weeks ago shopping him to schools.... Kirby has ticked off a lot of people right now - including current players and recruits. Bama, Auburn and Tennessee boards posting all over about it. People starting to talk publicly - even on radio shows.

Yep. There will be repurcussions. Everyone knows and understands the game of recruiting, and processing certain kids to make room for bigger fish happens. However -- You've got to deal with the timing aspect (it's a little late to push kids out who hope to be an early enrollee), and you've got to factor in the high school pipeline (processed kids, their families and their coaches will not be happy; do you want that bad blood from a pipeline school?)

Kirby has been made to believe he is on Saban's level, and he's not. Saban can get away with &hit like that and there will be no repurcussions because well... he's Nick Saban, the legend. Kirby is slowing hanging himself. Can't wait til UGA takes a step backwards this year and loses first round in the playoffs.

Just weird timing to be “pushed out”

Yeah, agree. Two push outs within days of each other plus a huge decommittment in the same time? Just not a good look but I’m sure they’ll end up with a top 5 class

Kirby sacrificing the long term relationships for short term success? Maybe because he's planning a short stint at UGA before heading off to greener pastures?

I heard this kid was pretty good too. Extremely productive...you usually want that in a backer.

Where would he go? Bama? I’m willing to bet Dabo and Paul Chryst first.

Lol at UGa pushing out the best talent in the state of Ga bc they want “better players” with no guarantees? These aren’t 3 stars decommitting Bama isn’t even doing that

GA losing Mwikuta and Eboigbe to Alabama is rough. Those two guys are going to be solid players. Losing Haselwood wou”d sting for sure.

So it's ok to "push out" kids from local schools in Georgia with no repercussions but if we do it.....
Ok’s got nothin to do with it.

When you’re the big state school in a state, the rules work differently, and that’s just how it is. GA Hs coaches aren’t going to send their kids out of state over that, and alabama does the same thing anyhow. Boosters won’t turn their back over that. None of it will undermine GA’s sway in state.

Miami is in a different situation, with both FSU and UF as in state institutions with resources, and UM being a small private school with a reputation it sometimes has to overcome. It is what it is.

Not buying the 'pushed out' nonsense. Official offers went out a couple months ago for 19 class. Kids that were pushed out didn't get them.

I hope he's a local kid and I hope theres repercussions because these are 4* kids who can play anywhere and now they're not good enough? It isn't always who looks like the better player it's valuing local studs and schools who show your school love but oh let us do it then Auntie Luke and other locals trash us

That’s not true. There are plenty of GA coaches that are ****ed at Kirby. FSU is big in South GA and is at max 3 hours away with Athens being the same distance. Same with Auburn in the western part of the state. He’s going to start losing guys because he’s pushing dudes out especially when these guys loved Richt and he rarely did that and Kirby is always going to be compared to him.

Those kids were committed for over a year. Both were told various things about development, playing position etc. UGA board believes it was all done in a "compassionate" way and these kids still have time to find "better fitting" situations. They were definitely "processed". They are going after 5* guys for every position - committed guys and uncommitted. It looks like Bama and UGA are going to be battling for 4-5 of the same guys down to the wire. Just imagine what the stakes will be for those kids....

Look at Grayson - UGA gets nobody from there

The link is to a VIP board and you wont be able to open it. I will pull some of the posts:

These are from the Alabama board - posters who live in Georgia:

One thread on there (another board) is from a high school coach who was getting blasted because he correctly called out Haselwood decommit and said two more were possibly on the way. His players had told him Georgia players were upset with promises made from coaching staff about playing time and these concerns were being relayed to recruits on visits.
This coach is correct. It was well known around the coaches he made promises to them and players that have already been broken.

Another post:
Rut-Row Sounds like Kirby is losing control of the situation. You reap what you sow Kirby and when you make promises you can't keep, it catches up with you.

...or when said coach tells recruits...
1) Nick is done
2) Nick runs assistants off due to overwork
3) Nick will get busted for exceeding team hours
Want more?

And another topic discussed is the Fields/Fromm situation. As I type this the subject was just discussed on College Game day - it was described as a "powder keg" and all the mods on the show think Kirby is creating a huge problem for himself. This is from the same Bama board thread:

I live in GA and he is from Harrison High in Cobb County. He should've gone to Auburn, FSU or Fla. They have a train wreck in Athens. Everyone harped on Jalen/Tus and the real story has been in Athens the whole time!!!! Fromm is now Eason

Sounds like Kirby has gotten pretty ****y - hopefully he will overreach sooner rather than later and they will implode. Will be interesting to see how long and what the Boosters support. Personally, I couldn't be more thankful for CMR
